Default Starter vs low (15) AR armor in farming builds

How much of a difference in 330/600 builds is there between the purchasable AR 15 armor and starter armor? I trashed my starter armor on my rit and I am wondering if it is worth a reroll if I want a farming character.

TBHthere is little difference.
Starter still needs a non starter headpiece as you need often the +1 off it.
The principal is the tank takes as much dmg as possible but meeting the needed req - eg spirit bond requires over 60 dmg per hit to heal and under 60 it wont work.
ar15 oes the job and sometimes if needed the tank uses frenzy to boost dmg intake.
So you can still farm efficiently with either and tbh a reroll isnt needed - also the ar15 armor isnt that much to buy - maybe 50g max in total.

Yep, I could even 600hp Yeti Tank in MQSC with my 60AL obsi armor without much troubles. Just go for the 15AL, don't worry about the 5AL starter armor.. besides, you have the option to choose the outlook of your char a bit by mixing those 15AL armors

I even think the +15 armor is preferable, it can still take a single hit or maybe 2 (for 600, not 330 ) before you're dead should you miss a Prot Spirit or Spirit Bond cause of interupt or KD.
So it may save you're skin whereas the +5 armor is certain dead without SB/PS.

But who cares 330hp, 600/smite will most likely not be a viable option anymore with the next skill update.

Left alternative for rit is spirit spam or the good'ol echo/VwK

it matters if your vsing creatures that wand , sometimes the +15armor takes longer to kill

i have a couple pieces of 5AL+15AL so to even it out even more i use a Tengu mask that can be runed and has 0AL on, sure i lose 1 stat increase but that doesnt matter at all since for a Rt it doesnt really make a diff

You can also get away with removing a piece or two if the 15al is not low enough, you loose a bit of health/energy with insignias and runes but gain in the way of +0al
