Default Solo Ooze Pit Sin

Sorry if something like this has been posted before, but I could not find anything about Ooze pit running for a Sin. As SF is probably going to be Nerfed next week, there is no point keeping this a secret.

This guide will not be super detailed as it will probably only be useful for about a week.

As I could not remember my way in the Ooze pit this took about 1/2, the run could be sped up a lot if you know the way, if I try this again soon, I will post an updated time and I may try it in HM.

I followed the path on this wiki site http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/File:...Jiggle_map.jpg

I did this in NM, but it may be able to be done in HM with a little practice.

Weapons: Staff of enchanting, zealous daggers of enchanting, a long bow

Armor: Max armor, set up for a perma sin, 105 armor (armor with superior runes on all pieces) Of course you will need superior shadow arts on both sets.

Consumables: Essence, Red rock candy (you will get hit with a snare, by one of the bosses, so this will be helpful), candy corn and Golden Eggs, I also used some pies, but they are probably not necessary with the red rock candy

The problem people have with the oozes is they can hit through SF. So I ran this similar to a 105 monk, but as a 105 Sin, with protective spirit to protect you. You basically use the dagger skills to kill everyone with. I use golden lotus as the opening skill, because I am usually horrible with energy management. Basically the dagger skills can be changed as you like, just keep Death Blossom in as it does major damage.

Basically grab quest, run to dungeon, pretty self explanatory. Once in dungeon, switch to 105 armor, cast skills 1,2 and run. When you come to a group of oozes, cast skill 3, and keep running. Run to first pressure plate, use it. Run to second pressure plate, use it. On the way to the second pressure plate, you will come across a boss in the sewer, I got hit with a snare there, but just keep running.

Run to the boss with the key and pull an ooze, switch to daggers, kill it, repeat until the boss, pull him, same method as before. Get the key, run to boss lock. On the way, you will hit some Incubi, switch to regular armor, not 105, drop shadow form, regen and run for it. Or you can keep up shadow form cast enchantments and run and hope for the best. As I did it in NM, I was able to make it through without getting shadow form stripped, it will probably be harder in HM, you can try it, good luck.

At the boss lock, there are two oozes, I killed them as this is where you will res if you die. Move on to the bosses.

Kill one boss. Stop attacking if they use the absorption skill, wait 15 seconds, then attack again. You will not need Protective spirit up while facing the bosses, but you will need it up once one dies. When the first boss dies, turn and run, there will be a lot of oozes that pop up and they can overwhelm you. Pull some at a time and kill them, use heeling breeze and the other heal as needed. Go for the earthbound oozes first. Once all the minor oozes are dead, go for another boss and repeat. Once the last boss is dead and all the spawns are dead, congrats, open the chest.

Let me repeat, this is not the best write up, I know and I probably will not get around to answering many questions about it, as may will be irrelevant soon.

Good luck and have fun.

The 1st essence ran out as I was finishing and I only had 1 so that was lucky, so it took 1/2 hour, but I was stopping along the way to look at the map, I would guess you could get it to 25 minutes easily if you knew the way and probably 20 minutes with practice

unless we get it into HM, it's probably not worth the essence as it's incredibly easy to 8 man in normal mode (20-30 mins tops)
