Default Ursan maintaining

I want you guys to say your throughts on this build, i usually use it with my guildies for fun.
Note: Now it's useless because perma is still unnerfed but after that.... eh well we will see.
In the team there must be an even number of players.

I need:

- one monk (didn't fount a build good for it- every build is good)
- one any/a (any skills it want except the elite- assassin promise)
- and an even number of players (3 skills: Ursan, arcane mimicry, and evas or any summon)

The even players split in 2 groups: a and b and both chose a leader witch call (leader from a should call when both fights).

Usage:

group a uses the ursan
when totem recharge, they say and group b uses ursan too
when group a finish ursan, they mimicry on any/a
when group b calls, and monster have almost half health, a cast assassin promise and after then evas or summon
ursan recharge and then it's used by group a
and story repeats...

good build?

Err tbh there was a while ago a way to keep ursan up - not sure if on here or on pvx .
Personally ursans seen its day and if i was to attempt to keep it 24/7 or as close to it as possible id probably have AoS in the build just for the chance of all skills being recharged.
But then again im not too sure as AoS can be either hit and miss most of the time - few times in raptors ive had only 2 recharges from 33 raptors but im a sucker for punishment.

Thinking the ursan build used possibly the mimic on a ranger with ( i think ) oath shot and it purposly hit/missed to recharge all skills - if anyone knows the build or has a link please post it for the op.

Yep, Oak shot it's another good variant, but how to make it not miss never? (checking on wiki, please w8...) .

well try using Shadow sanctuary with oathshot blind sould make you miss or get obstructed :P

as for oath shot...low expertise and some self inflicted miss chance like blind might stack nicely...

on a side note+1 to Kerwyn's Balanced

Edit: anyone notice oath has to hit to recharge...from what people said it got me thinking it was the other way around...just took a look ingame...

They are planning to evaluate them and see if they need a nerf. Anet will never nerf every farm skill, because the game will literally die. Sure, nerfing SF wont kill it, but when you take out SF, OF, 600/smite, 55, and all the other farm skills, people will stop playing.

As for balanced, don't get your hopes up. The only way balanced will come about as the new meta is if there are some large buffs to make playing as a full team worthwhile and quick. If anything, we'll see the return of the Holy Trinity, or stop speed clears all together and go back to single area farms(aka, smite farms, trapping veil, beach farming, etc)

Balanced is also absolute crap, unless you goal is just to finish an area (and even then you may still fail).

No matter what the area is, a team of organized and optimized builds will always be faster than a "balanced" build.

in GvG or HA there is no such thing as "Balanced"

use physcial-way like setup, 1-2 frontliners, imbagon, 1-2 healers, orders and rest either physical midliners or caster midliners.
imo will do more dmg then ursan.

Balanced basically means a balanced team

In the nerfed UW speed clear you used 7 sins and a necro obviously not balanced. Balanced is say a warrior tank + Derv+ assassin for damage 3 mesmer/necro/ranger/paragon support and 2 monk/rit for heals and prots.

It basically means a balanced team.

so does say a 1-2 perma sins or OF tanks, 4 searing flames eles, 1 bonder and 1 healer count as balanced? cause it seems like it does atm but clears DoA in what under 1hr? and what record of 32mins.

I really wasn't trying to say that balanced teams couldn't clear zones very fast, I was merely telling him what balanced was, and no 2 OF tanks and 4 SF 1 healer and 1 bonder isn't very balanced now is it?
Thats 6 ele's and 2 monks, even if 2 of the eles are tanks. :P

happy new yrs guys,
it wasnt ment to you mate but some other person said that balanced or wateva is slow and u can fail, well if u add a imbagon its not really balanced anyway.
and what 40mins fow HM clears with physical way slow without shadow form with out splitting?
is DoA NM balanced in about 1hr 30mins slow?
