I am just back after a 3 year absence, and was wondering a couple of things about clearing the tomb missions. First, is it even really worth it in terms of the items you can find, and second, if it was a good place for a ranger to try. I tried a little bit last night with a trap ranger (dust trap - echo - dust trap - barbed trap), and it didn't go very well at all (mainly thanks to stuff popping up outta the ground). I also tried farming ice imps just for practice with a Me secondary using mantra of frost, but that also didn't go well either (even with hex removal I kept getting mind freeze+maelstrom slapped on me

). So I was wondering if there weren't some places with decent drops that weren't too awfully hard, so I can kind of get some timing down and then move on to harder stuff. I have all the expansions, but am limited to proph and NF because I haven't explored hardly any of factions or EotN yet.

You're gonna be limited to skills that are used to farm certain places unless you buy tomes for them.

Well I got a few by going to the first place in factions if I remember right. I guess I could do the same for EotN so I have a bit more flexibility with my builds I guess.
