Alright, so I've decided I'm a lame farmer lol. Without my monk and sin, I am useless lol. So, what is farming? I think I might have a misconception of what farming actually is. So, could someone just answer a few of my questions? lol

-What is Farming?

-Is farming strictly solo, or can you take a group with you?

-Should I feel stupid for asking these? lol (optional lol)

Farming is merely a way of obtaining money and usually is something you repeat over and over. For example you can "farm" quests by repeating them, do dungeons by repeating them and so on.

Nope, like I've just said farming is merely a way of obtaining money. You got places in GW where people form teams in high-end PvE areas to obtain better/specific loot, like Underworld, Fissure of Woe, The Deep, Urgoz and Domain of Anguish.

No, you shouldn't. Obtaining money effectively these days in GW requires players to "think outside the box" a little more than the ol' days when people just ran out, killed large mobs, get bags full of scrap and sell it to a merchant. Nowadays players usually rely on having to farm specific materials, like...

* Festival items (Alcohol, Sweets and Party items)
* Materials (feathers, granite, etc) to then sell off to people or NPC's
* Rare materials (Globs of Ectoplasm, Obsidian Shards, Amber etc)
* Rare weapon skins

Don't worry if you feel like a noob. I once asked a friend what they were doing, they said farming. I'm like "you can farm in this game!? Awesome, what can I grow?"
