Default A/Rt Perma Build-in-progress

Ohk, well as some of u may not know u can keep shadow form up with a A/Rt by laying a spirit down (in this case Destruction) and using ghostly haste, then using deadly paradox and shadow form. Energy managment is fairly easy, using Spirit Siphon to gain 13 energy right after u cast sf, then again when destruction is about to die. But, the damage is what i need ideas for.

Here is what i have :

Ghostly Haste
Destruction
Deadly Paradox
Shadow Form
Spirit Siphon
(opt)
(opt)
(opt)

So, you guys have 3 slots to come up with some AoE damage. You can max out one other attribute because u don't need any ritualist attribute points to keep sf up. I was thinking of just spamming Ancestor's Rage, or Spirit Rift, But i would like to hear your ideas.

Rather late to be worrying about this. If you haven't heard, SF is going to be hit with a stick soon.

If you really want to do something different, try doing it without SF.

Then just run the already made SF build instead of making your own....

If you want to perma so bad, go A/E. You have access to Sliver Armor which can dominate foes.

A/Rt is very weak in my opinion and if destruction is destroyed... your dead.

The problem I see with this is keeping a spirit up. At first, u could cast one, then make aggro, but after that spirit dies, u are gonna need to create another one, which would be a problem, because your enemies will surely destroy it in no time. So, either you will need to kill them within the life span of the initial spirit (sounds very unlikely), or find a way to safely make a new spirit. Gaze of Fury may be a reliable way to keep a spirit alive, outside of the danger zone. Perhaps you could cast a couple spirits, vampirism, blood song, aggro, then cast painful bond, and let your spirits kill stuff for u, also using gaze of fury to keep spirits up. The problem with this is that eventually u will only have one spirit remaining, and your damage output will decrease quite a bit. A skill that would do alot of damage for the cost is splinter weapon, keep in mind it is also armor ignoring (just as painful bond is). Ansestors rage could work, as well as spirit rift (which might prove to be too costly), but both are not armor ignoring, and depending on the enemies you fight, could be quite insignificant in terms of damage.

Ghostly Haste
Deadly Paradox
Shadow Form
Spirit Siphon
Vampirism/Destruction/Blood Song
Gaze of Fury
Splinter Weapon
Ancestors Rage

That's the best I can do right now out of pure theory craft. To use splinter weapon effectively, switch targets when u attack so that u spread its damage out, or use a scythe.

Another option would be to make this a dual farming build, that way a rit could keep spirits up for you, you wouldnt have to worry about maintaing a spirit at a distance from your enemies. It could actually be pretty fast, you could cast a few spirits before aggroing, and the rit could use signet of spirit and cast a few other spirits, then you aggro, one of you cast painful bond, then you spam splinter weapon and ancestors rage until they are all dead.

Well the thing is you dont have many ways of doing damage is a secondary rit.
and worse you need 5 skills just to keep up shadow form.

best thing i can think of is use "by ulras hammer" and splinter weapon and hit large groups with a scythe until they die. all the other skills under a rit either do armor sensitive damage, or can be taken out (spirits)

I personally wouldn't bother with perma, but rather simply use SF to initiate combat, pull mobs to spirits (you seem to want to use channelling), then run ([dash], cupcake, etc) out of range, and have some sort of self-heal.

This probably would cause you to die, a lot. Why? AoE. It can't target you, it'll target the spirit.

Boom, boom, baby. You are dead the second you cast your spirit.

Place destruction away from you, like outside the agro bubble. Use ancestor's rage, spirit rift and summon spirits when destruction is about to die so destruction will teleport to you and cause a massive aoe spike.

Or you could just, like, use an Elementalist secondary. Or a mesmer one.

30x 1..4..5 dmg! a "massice AoE spike"

this idea is bad, it's like trying to merge A/* Vale sin and it's Vale damage buddy.

Waste of time. The reason why it hasn't been mentioned before is because it's an awful idea.
