Yes, it's possible. I use a Perma, solo in HM, w/ quest Final Assault, to farm Rago and Galigord a lot.

If you want to kill the monk bosses, grab all aggrov near by and sliver away the Monk boss first.

The only thing that can hurt you are the Furnacec Guadian skill Giant Stomp. If you time it right, you don't really need IAU and can replace it w/ a run skills if you want to move around faster, self-heal, or some energy skill.

If I recall correctly, my skill bar is

GoS+DP+SF+GoLE+Ebon Battle Standard of Honor+Sliver+Death Charge+(Optional)

Optional can be Dark Escape, IAU, any energy recover skill if you really need it, or BUH!
Weapons: Zeal Scythe, Zeal Daggers, and Staff for +20energy

I'd imagine it's doable with a Spirit Spammer as well.

Yeap, SS seems to work almost everywhere these days. The downside is you have to kill your way to the boss aka almost like vanquishing.

W/ a perma, you just run around w/ SF up looking until you find the boss you want hence faster than Rit's SS. After you kill the boss, no green, resign, repeat; much much faster than killing everything every time you zone in.

spirit spammers are not designed to be speed killers unlike sf sin who can run round foes like stated - but if you think along the lines of - speed over drops.
You may do 10 or 20 runs at the bosses and maybe no greens and very little to show for it , spirit spammer would take longer but will probably have a full bag at end of it and has stuff to show for the effort.
There was also a theory i think was on here ( guru ) to do with kills and drops but not the fast kills less drops one.I think it was the one that if you went in zone and went straight for a boss you seemed to have lesser green drops than if you killed some foes first then went after boss - as with most gw drop theories it cant really be proved or disproved but is always worth considering.
If needs be get another guildie/friend and go duel spirit spammers - the duel rit uw build is quite gd to use outside of uw and quite fun - myself and my wife farmed the cantha new yr items in ring of fire using 2 spirit rits.

im pretty sure it doesnt matter whether u kill it fast or not, as long as the boss is wielding the green, he will drop it.
atleast it does for me when i use to farm proph greens

id go with sf

Well, on non-double green weekends, I can get Rago and/or Galigord staff pretty fast using Sliver; probably in the same time it takes a SS to get to and kill Rago/Galigord/Brimstone the 1st time. After all, those 3 bosses appear near the end of Final Assault.

If I was after drops, I can sliver away the non-bosses too.

I generally go down there with the ubiquitous three necros, kill my way to where I want to be, then flag the heroes off radar.

Spirit spam does the rest.
