Oh, Ranger and I go waay back . Over a year ago I showed Ranger the E/Mo Vale build and afterwards we tried to break the (then) 11 minute UWSC record - but after the first night we never had the same 8 people together to continue trying and so we stopped.

BTW here's the post that I submitted in December 2008 describing the E/Mo Vale build (thanks again to Glory Blade for using the A/Me build to clear Vale and pop the reaper):

So Ranger's just saying it's nice how basically that same E/Mo build is finally the 'meta' way of doing Vale/Wrathful Spirits

And for the lulz, here's a post I created in September 2008 describing how an E/A could clear Vale and also solo Wrathful Spirits - this unfortunately no longer works due to SF's shorter duration (i.e. more energy needed to maintain SF), the skeles and additional spirits to kill during Wrathful.

I would still like to get a clean quick run in the 20-21min range done before the SF nerf but am having some difficulty motivating people to attempt it. Could someone post a screen-shot of a fast UW run so that the lazy bastards i normally run with will take it up a notch. I think some of them are under the mistaken impression that they are the only ones that do fast UW clears and I would love to prove them wrong.

There are people who want to do fast UW runs: for time not money. Speak to purple, razvan, beasty, kao, holy, danny, james, serg to name a few. I would be up for getting <20min, except I can't play much atm
I'm actually pretty confident that 10 or 11 min 9/10 is possible.

Yep, 11min tele should not be a prob and almost immediate taking of wastes quest (64 seconds for final wastes quest spawn) should put us up in Dhuum at around 13min on perfect run and a small chance at 19min completion with decent judgment cycle. I'd be happy just pushing the time down from 23min (which was not a perfect run by any measure) and getting it closer to 20.

I understand why some people don't want to push for better times when the chest remains the same but I enjoy the group effort towards speed and efficiency and the chest (in that kind of run) to me is kind of secondary.

(impulsion) I do wish our timezones matched up better so we could do more runs together.

However, most of the people in the other screen-shots are certainly capable of faster times, I was just hoping that there are other teams out there doing fast times so that there would be some reason for pushing the time down again.

One thing I was wondering, if the Rit takes intensity, and replaces EoE with ancestor's rage might that be faster? I think the only person who might be affected by the slower restore is mnts, but pools & mnts take roughly the same time, and then mnts is just waiting a bit for pools to pop plains reaper anyway.

I think its too valuable to drop. I know i am addicted to it and i couldn't consider life without it....LOL. But seriously it speeds first spike and chamber and vale and wastes and 400 damage per Judgement etc. (PI+buh as extra ally)

We could certainly drop flesh during a record run and just pay the cost of res scrolling so as to make room for rage.

can we have some write-ups on the rit? i have no clue on the thingy, in uwsc i was told to take the quest from the reaper (after killing all the spiders-whatever-they-are-called), so i took it. loads of mobs spawned anc i couldnt make it to emo without aggroin them. for like 2 mins i was trying to get through withm using sos and then we wiped. was kinda noobish coz no one expected me to know nothing, but i wasnt expecting this to be harder than fowsc, where all my job is to put eoe and /dance

After taking the quest you're supposed to take the spirits group by group.. Let the E/Mo tank and support with your SoS + EoE. Don't get near Mindblades or you're dead. And make sure when you're being asked "ready for escort", you are near the first/second group of spirits so you won't aggro the spawning enemies.. Don't get too greedy either..

Actually it is.. you just can't play it as "a leisure run".. Concentrate on what you're doing especially in Dhuum. PI right away when he casts Judgement of Dhuum and BUH! right away. Other than that your job is to heal ppl and res them etc. It's not that hard ^^

What are changes to MNTS?

I stopped doing UWSC after first time nerf sh1t (those skelletons), and I was jus thinking I could go back and do a lil UWSC ...if today this nerf dont nerf sf offcourse..

I used to do a lot of mnts, normal 7-11min, record 6...but I heard now there are some skelletons? some more info on this

Mnts is exactly the same as pre-nerf, except that now a lot of terrors come after the slayer, and they will kill the reaper. You need to either kill all behemoths in aggro so the reaper is invincible once quest compltes (no leaving them behind monument or down below), or else kill the terrors afterwards.
