Default return of obby?

i know that the obby warrior will stay dead due to obsidian flesh giving a -2 energy regeneration but what about for elementalist and dervish? obbsidian flesh won't hurt them that much and with shadow form completely dead it would be interesting to see if obby would make a comback. maybe won't be as great as before but interesting to say the least.

i tried obby on my ele to farm glint and it worked out, took longer at the end since i was a little low on energy but it worked out fine.

Um.....Shadow Form isn't dead....not even close. People are already doing runs and speed clears again with SF+earth magic and SF+prots. It's still very do-able.

Also, Obby is dead. I haven't seen anyone even trying to use it now in speed clears or runs. They effectively smiter's boon'd it.

nah Sf isnt dead.. like jesus said its already being used in SC again.
obby can be used but really only practically in high energy areas(vaetirr adn snowman come to mind).
really i dont see obby being even as common as before but SF is still a threat and still easy to use.

You can just replace Obsidian Flesh with Shadow Form on Warriors.

Obsidian Flesh has no advantages over SF.

In our DTSC we sometimes swap a Mo/Rt for an E/Mo with Obby flesh he can clear routes with it, it doesn't make it good but it s possible to use it for DTSC

Only thing about obby that springs to mind is the old e/me or e/ra earth tanks - i recall them having no real energy issues and im sure with -2 nrg its compensated for.
And sf isnt dead - it just took over spellbreakers role ( i bet all the anti sf ppl are swearing again )

No. Higher damage output, and you can tank interrupts whilst still having stoneflesh.
