For those of you who think speed clears are bad ive done many before and non for the mony i do it because the chest (in the uw or fow) or ending thing in general looks so cool i sit and stare fora while now you may think speed clears need to last longer but honestly i dont have the time to spend 3 hours on one thing you might and if you do i must advise you getting something other to do then just guild wars but really 3 hours a clear is rediculous do you know how hard it is to keep a group for that long unless your in a speedclear guild? and i dont remember speedclear guilds being the only ones who had the right to clear so 3 hours is exessive in my opinion.

Stop crying about how you can't make easy money and earn it.
If you want money - pvp. A lot of the richest people ingame make their money from reward points from ATs and turning them into zaishen keys (ignoring power traders/RL traders). Even if you don't AT, farming the pvp zaishen quest can net a lot of money.
Of course, this does require people to actually working, so there're some people who'll still continue to cry about their precious godmode was taken away.

Another " I hate Anet " QQ thread..... I'm rather enjoying what they did. Oh wait but then I'm not worried about having stacks of ectos or secretly sell VR items on some web site. I actually play the game !

Funny thing, guy, is he never mentioned his methods. Im starting to beleive there are more whining about whiners than about the skill balance.

Hmm lets see I have done multiple Deep and Urgoz runs since the update all in under an hour. I got numerous zodiac drops as well as other gold items. AS for making money the reason all these things are now practically worthless is because of the over-farming of areas. If anything this should drive prices back up a little making runs more profitable

The problem isn't with the areas or the nerf it people like you. You want maximum rewards for little effort and Anet has taken that away. These areas were specifically designed to be challenging and take some time. All these areas require are a little bit of strategy and tactics. Also are you seriously complaining about an hour to do an ELITE area. I remember when factions first came out and tactics for different areas were being developed runs could take anywhere up to 3 hours to do. Or spending 2-3 hours in UW just to get destroyed by the 4 -horsemen.

As for DOA my guild is still doing it daily under an hour so...

I agree soloing is fun! per the link you gave. i remember the days of IDS runs. oh that was fun! but farming = fun? If your talking about that then NO. farming today is a lame as it was back before HM and the day they removed that warring about killing just a few mobs.

.....they've become increasingly harder to farm and i've only had the fortune of getting 8 drop for me since i began gw about 4 years ago.

ANET/GURU/&TOwhomITconcerns,

if you're going to nerf skills that had previously made it possible for players to max their xun accounts and load up on rare drops, making zillions in the process, then why won't you nerf their accounts as well and take away their enormous amounts of ingame wealth??? if you take the skills you should take all which came with it. that is true balancing.

...otherwise...nerfing only makes the wealthiest of gamers to become even more wealthy.

So I herd none of the areas you mentioned are impossible. Slavers is piss easy(exception is forge, but if I can h/h it, you better be able to do it with a team. Deep has been done in 12 minutes post nerf. DoA has been done in 49 postnerf last I checked. No one really cares about urgoz anymore, but under 30 would definitely be possible.

If you feel like making real money, get into highend pvp, powertrade, or do DoA. Armbrace in 2.5 runs, or a little over 2 hours. Learn to play, kthnx

I don't think they were originally intended as easy...I remember my first time through eotn I found raptor areas to be the hardest...and yes the nestlings are a lower lvl and don't have the touch skill...but....look how many there are tightly packed...I think they were intended to be difficult but...
