Default Dust off Your Dervishes: UWSC Mashway:: BUILDS INCLUDED NOW::

Theres been a lot of complaints about elitism and profession discrimination in uwsc for a while now. I thought that we'd put this together for a while and Macadamia Sin and I finally got together and did it. Currently this is the best time, but with practice we expect to get it <1hr, 50 mins approx.

::UWSC Mashway/ToYsWay::

Run down to 1hr,3 mins



Its not meant to be the fastest build out there, it isnt, but its a bit of fun and it gets other professions involved in the game.

==Builds + Tactics==

New Bars: These are the current bars i ask people to run in my guild teams.





Team consists of
3 Dervish Critters (Mashers)
E/Mo Prot Bonder
Mo/E UA
Rt/N or Rt/Me Support (Multiple Builds) OASkQkhkITekhw1E1j3EGzqoc5FD <-- new, better build
T1
T2

Dervishes have a 7/8 skill bar where we play around with the optional skills (builds at bottom)

E/Mo is Standard Protter with SaH for + Damage Dervishes

UA just follows, res's and heals the mainteam

Rit Follows mainteam and buffs dervishes, kills dhuum.

T1 and T2 are split terras, our tactics within guild are more complicated than just splits, but work out between you what areas the terras want.

T2 can take BuH and do waste>pits while the more experienced T1 can do Mtns>Pools

Chamber:

1.Pull and kill skele as standard.
2. Bond T2 who takes quest. Bond all Dervs, Rit and UA
3. T2 Pulls everything one side down the stairs, Mashers kill. Rit uses splinter here
4. Pull 2nd side, then clear the way to wastes/mtns.
================================================== =
MAINTEAM
================================================== =
Clear The Chamber:

1.Bond all Dervs, Rit, UA.
2. Aggro 2-3 mobs at once, kill all nightmares first. Rends will kill the dervs, it isnt a major problem, they dye in 1 scythe and the UA can res the dead dervishs.
3. Kill skeletons > all other targets. 2 Scythes should get them with buffs on
4. Clear Chamber, Pop Reaper and Take Restore

Vale

1. Bonded Dervs aggro everything on the way to vale smashing it as they go.
2. Pop Vale Reaper and take quest.
3. 1 Dervish stands up top and with bonds solo's top spawn.
4. Clear all Spirits then head back to chamber.

(Experienced Grps, 12-13 mins) (Pugs 20 mins)

Escort

1. all Dervs stand at top of stairs.
2. Take quest, Mindblades will Ball at the top of stairs, dont worry about spirits, UA will heal them.
3. One Derv pull into a nice ball
4. Rit uses Splinter on dervs
5. Smash it out, Easy clear.
6. Rinse and Repeat for next 2 groups

(Experienced Grps (19-20 mins) Pugs (30 mins)

UWG

1. EMo Stands in middle, bonds all 3 dervs.
2. UA stands on vale stairs, behind where the mindblades spawn on vale entry.
3. D1 stands just in front of UA to spike vale keeper
4. D2 stands on middle keeper spawn
5. D3 Stands on Left Keeper Spawn.
6. Take Quest. Spike Keepers
(It is normal for 1-2 of the dervs to die here, keepers die in 2-3 scythes so they have enough time to kill them with candies)

7. For the next 3 groups, the emo tanks the aatxes (who never interupt) and the dervs pull and spike keepers

==Mainteam Job Done(Experienced Grps (27-30 mins) Pugs (40 mins)==

Terra 1 (Wastes, Pits
================================================== =
1. Help Clear Chamber
================================================== =
Wastes

1. Enter wastes. Run to reaper shrine and clear all coldfires and smite crawlers.
2. Wait for Restore and Kill Dryders.
3. If T2 isnt ready to do 4h, kill more stuff
================================================== =
Run to Plains
================================================== =
Duo 4h, T2 will set this up ready to go

1.Kill your dream rider on pits side
2.Take quest
3. Spike both caveliers with sliver then hold aggro until T2 is done.

Pits

1.Enter Pits, Run to the Reaper Shrine
2.Clear Everything away, ignore the skeletons, Mainteam will kill these.
3. Kill dryders, pop pits and start clearing until T2 and mainteam are completed.
============(Experienced Terra: 28-30 mins) Pug (45 mins)=======

Terra 2 (Mtns, Pools)
================================================== ==
Assist with clearing the chamber.
================================================== ==
Mountains

1. Run to the mountains
2. If restore isnt taken, spike the behemoths with sliver WITHOUT SHADOW FORM
3.once restore is taken make sure to quickly put SF up
4. Kill all behemoths, then clear the dryders
5. Take 'Demon Assassin'
6. Run to the bottom of mountains and Spike the Slayer

Plains

1. Run to the chaos plains
2. Pull everything to pools side, except the dryders. If you aggro one or two never mind, sliver them down, leaving one alive.
3. Clear all banished, wailing lords.
4. T1 will come along and clear the last dryder, you will still have mindblade aggro.
5. T2 will take quest, spike caveliers with sliver.

Pools

1. Run to the spawning pools
2. Kill all Charged blackness in the 2nd room
3. Clear all dryders from the shrine
4. Take the quest 'Terrorweb Queen'
5 Run through and spike the queen.
6. Tele pits once t2 is done.
=======================(Experienced Terra, 29-30 mins) Pug (45 mins)

IF TERRAS ARE NOT COMFORTABLE WITH 2 MAN FOUR HORSEMAN, TELE NOW

Team Parts::
================================================== ==
Pits

1. Terra 1/2 stand in middle of main spawn up top, other terra stand in cover
2. all 3 dervs get bonded and beast the back spawn
3. Terra in the middle clears all skeles with sliver. Kept alive by UA and feast from the rit.
4. Once all spirits have moved up the hill, pull dryders into the cover, Dervs Spike.

Wastes

1. Terra with BuH stand in the middle (main aggro)
2. Terra with IaU stand to the right, to catch aggro going to frozen wind
3. Derv stand behind the rock to the left of main aggro, rit stands behind him

4. Emo bonds EVERYONE EXCEPT TERRAS
5. Everyone else by reaper
6. Take Quest, T1 will catch aggro and sliver skeles, D1 will have to scythe 1-2 skeles and 1-2 dryders, with rit using GDW its fairly easy.

7. Pull all aggro behind the rock , Dervs Spike
====================(Experienced Team:40-42 mins) (Pugs 1hr)

Dhuum
================================================== =
Emo, Rit, UA and D1 stay alive, get bonded, rest die.
================================================== =
Emo tanks dhuum like dayway, D1 scythes minions and dhuum, Rit casts PI and keeps them alive, UA heals and removes hexs on emo.

or the D/A ppl use for pits.

I'm hiding builds because we dont want them out JUST YET

Were gonna run it a few times tomorrow and when were satisfied we've optimised builds i'll put it out. The reason i posted the thread now is to stimulate discussion and ideas.

He told you they are still testing. Sure he posted it for recognition but as long as they post the builds at some point soon I am fine with that. Maybe ideas people post here will help speed it up a bit.
I think if anything by posting the screenshot showing it is possible and giving the professions he has possibly inspired a bit of creativity. Everyone complains wiki ruined GW because everything is cookie cutter but as soon as someone doesn't provide their builds people complain.
Congrats on the new build, good luck putting on the final touches.

That's slow... for a speed clear.

My guild is able to do Physicalway and beat it in 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Using any 3 melee physicals with AoE attacks, 2 ER bonders, 1 SoS rit, 1 orders necro and 1 other.
Simple build for rolling the game, used it in a PuG yesterday on City HM.

Once again, if not sharing builds/strategies the only reason for posting is "Look at me" syndrome. Would expect this to be closed once Marty comes across it.

It's not impressive either, if it was below 50 minutes it would be worth looking into, but as I stated, my guild did the same with a typical physicalway. Not even close to a speed clear.

i see the reason of doing this, but the truth is this forums is almost dead, sometime just few post each day, sometime even less.

I rather see something firing up discussion (without going too much overboard) then a empty forum.

A rigid rule enforcement might be good if we get many post there, but I'm not sure if its a good thing right now.

Had there been a posting of builds/ideas/anything other than look at me....I would have absolutely no quarrels with the post. But the fact remains they have the builds and ideas, yet choose not to share. The title leads one to believe that they might benefit from or be able to contribute to, ideas that will be use of Dervish characters, not a Look at Me thread. If going to post a Look at me Thread, why not title it as such? Ex) Look at what we can do with our dervs. Then I would have no warrant to qq.

Looks like a stupid modification of old mobway. Seeing that maca is one of the creators that's probably what it is. Also cut it down to 2 cons because no one wants to run this, I'm sure I could throw together a random team with 2 sliver splits and finish faster than this.


Also TWWTway was deleted off of guru was essentially this, just had better team setup (caster spiking). Rits clean up so much faster, its kind of stupid killing aatxes with melee.

Professions don't matter. Dervs are physical attackers, probably no SF, EMo is prot bonder, he bonds dervs and monk, monk is a UA, another old thing from mobway, rit has SoS or DwG, probably Spirit Rift + Ancestor's Rage, 2 E/Me are generic OF+Sliver. Functionally its crap.


Also, there is no reason for this build to achieve this:

5-6 spots to do lab+vale , something to tank Aatxes/Webs (EMo or tank), some way to kill them, some way to defend the backline and finish off stragglers (SoS), heals (optional), 2-3 splits to do wastes/planes/mtns. Your build along with TWWTway, Terraway, and every other -way fit this mold. You can literally make 50 different builds with a 6 man team doing some areas with wastes/pits/planes/mtns/pools being done by sliver. There is no reason why THIS one build is unique or special in any way that it deserves a separate team name. Also this is pointless in posting if no one will PUG it, which they won't.

this build is meant to be FUN. thats what it is! Its not going to beat DL's 36 mins, i dont expect to. but if we can get it down to 50 mins and have a run where everyone is laughing and having a great time, then our goals achieved.

/Agree with the above.
If you gonna run splits for wastes/pits/planes/mtns/pool while the others do the easy quests,its nothing new and doesnt look fun either,the main team is just doing the piece of cake quests which can be rolled by anything.
