It really isnt that hard to figure out what would maximize the potential of the build.

To not only flame you and the rest of the no-brainers, here's how i set it up: 16 chan, 11 com, 9 spawn. Obviously shaman's insignia's are a good choice.
Heals are for the people who don't know how to properly pull.
My usual solo build is: SoS, Bloodsong, Pain, Vampirism, Shadowsong, Painful Bond, Summon Spirits, Spirit Siphon.

There, it's not that hard.
thank god i ask a question and got an ass-hole response, MAN my day is now complete

how about next time, instead of being a self-righteous jerk when responding you can take into account the fact that maybe just MAYBE i don't KNOW rits enough to know the skills, or attribute distribution that would be most effective, therefore, i asked assuming it wasnt that big of a disturbance...

but i guess ill just "Start using my brains" so that i dont have to bother good people like you who apparently feel it takes precious time away from your day to answer a question from an ignorant person such as myself... sorry to have wasted your time...

im sure there has never been a time that you asked a question correct? that would be silly because if you had to ask a question than you wouldnt have been using your brain either, and that is just impossible

I have tried out that build on my necro - cause of soul reaping att. I cleared almost all UW on NM. It took a lot of time but.. IT'S POSSIBLE!!

If you would go with few ppl with those build it should be possible to accomplish all UW NM

kinda obvious when in their post they said what the stats were, and its not hard to tell what the skills are, even if some how you dont know what they are. just look at the icons and go to a skill trainer

Restoration - ?

Gear wise... just everything max armor, with what types of runes???

Weapons... Should i just go for the usual staff with a 20/20 mod and + hp or something??

Sorry if this was addressed in another post but i read through all 9 pages and didnt see it anywhere

Thanks for any and all help

EDIT::: Just noticed there was a skill on here that you could only get through EoTN.... is this essential? or can i survive without it ?? since i dont have EoTN and dont really have time to buy and advance in it right now lol
I don't have a Rt myself, but I'll try and give some good advice.

Seeing as you don't have EoTN for the Spiritleech Aura skill - which is not exactly essential - you wont need to place any points into Restoration.

I'd basically have Channelling as the highest as 4 of your spirits are under channelling along with Painful Bond, your "omg b1g domage" hex/buff spell for your spirits. Followed by Communing and Spawning.

Spiritleech Aura just helps spirits do some easy extra damage with Life Stealing and helps them last a bit longer with the health they steal. Though the skill is very useful for killing Smite Crawlers in the UW, the build itself in general isn't exactly that quick and easy to use for that part of UW anyway, so you're not missing out.

Since you don't have access to the skill I'd go with either:

Summon Spirits - Kurzick & Luxon Ritualist PvE skill, you need at least the first Rank in either faction to buy this skill. This does great healing for your spirits and will allow you to move them all very quickly to whatever position you currently are. Can help you kite with your spirits.

Spirit Siphon - this skill will steal energy from the spirit closest to you. Running this skill will allow you to spam Painful Bond a great deal more, allowing you to deal lots of damage.

being, thank you very much for the good informative response i am currently studying my butt off for a final on monday (and one tuesday) so i dont have the time to test things out right now, but i will definately give it a go on tuesday when i finally have free time

With being the UW, i always assume that more life is better incase an attaxe gets through, should i avoid sup runes? or will i be safe since they will be attacking my spirits and not me?

would this build be able to do FoW also? (i will be testing but would like to know before hand if its complete crazyness, since i dont know FoW at all lol)

Again, Being thank you for the informative post, i will post again, or make a new post when i get time to test drive this build

Carry a shelter weapon and a +10 slashing shield. Don't let the Aatxe get through. To put it bluntly, if the Aatxe hit you, you are doing it wrong. Try watching the videos in the first post. I haven't watched them, but I assume they show proper technique so the Aatxe don't chew your face off.

A superior Channeling allows all of your channeling spirits to kill more quickly, especially combined with Painful Bond. Focus on not getting hit, and the loss of health should not matter, while killing speed will increase. You can use Summon Spirits as a teleporting wall to body block if you are desperate.

There are screens and video showing this build in FoW in the first post. Yes, this build can do parts of FoW.

so i was doing some research and running about today (exam is in 2 hours but im fried lol needed a break) and as a skill to replace spirit leach aura since i dont have EoTn, would ARMOR of unfeeling be a good substitute? it would help with spirit survivability, but looses the life steal...

Or am i better off to go with spirit siphon still ?

Armor of Unfeeling is awesome. If you don't have SLA, I'd definitely go with that.

Right now I run SoS, Pain, Vampirism, Bloodsong, AoU, Spirit Siphon, Painful Bond, and Summon Spirits. It completely owns most anything in PvE.

I usually run shadowsong instead of AoU, unless I face lots of caster damage.

worth pointing out that spirit leech aura buffs your "tank" spirits, as bloodsong and vampirism are life stealing and don't lose the damage, but do gain the extra life stealing.

i've found that the best setup on my rit if you need a heal is dropping shadowsong for mend body and soul. For instance, I don't use shadowsong in fow. It doesn't shut the shadow army warriors down enough for the slot, and the condition removal is nice when in forest or the spider cave. For UW, shadowsong is important because it shuts half of the damage to the spirits.

Spirit Siphon is not quite a waste of a slot, but its close. Unless you are haphazardly dropping spirits on recharge, you don't need the energy. If attaxes are past your spirit wall, the last thing you need is to cast painful bond anyway.

- about 45 minutes from me being afk, back tracking and deaths.
I also got another 2 golds, 2 monstrous eyes, 1 monstrous fang, TONS of purples/blues/whites. Wish I would've brought an empty inventory+id/salvage kits.

I can't seem to find any decent farming spots, even tried some of those listed. Only have Factions + NF HM, and the character which I'm running this build on hasn't done anything in Prophecies and only has the Starter Island + Kaineng in Factions and upto the Sunspear Sanctuary in NF. I've tried Minister Cho's HM, Togo just runs off all the time before I can even get my spirits set up and dies thus ending the mission, I've tried Minister Cho's explorable but my Spirit's die extremlely fast which ends up in me getting killed, even with careful pulling. I've tried Sunqua Vale, the Naga Stormcallers or whatever they are kill me from range even if im behind my spirits (No places to hide out of sight), just wondering if it's my build or equipment or what. Any suggestions on what to change, tactics and where else to try and farm (preferably HM) are welcomed.

Template - OgglchYDYGqiJ5DWO9NdNd2ANtJWNB
Or for anybody who can't be bothered to look in-game:

Vampirism, Bloodsong, Pain, Signet of Spirits, Shadowsong, Armor of Unfeeling, Spiritleech Aura, Painful bond.

8+1+3 Expertise
9 Communing
10 Restoration
9 Channeling Magic

Using a Ssyn's Staff

Runes: Superior Expertise, Minor Vigor, Survivor + Attunement.

Thanks in advance.

Tried something a little more challenging this time

^ Prophet's Path ^

That crappy low res image doesn't do that vanquish justice, so hear are some more imageshack hosted ones (high res)

http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/1325/gw010a.jpg

It was pretty hard, and i reckon that the crystal desert is about as far as this build can vanquish. Taking into account the areas done so far, it looks possible to solo vanquish nearly every area up to the desert.
