If this is NM (which it should be if you're farming for event drops) don't waste your elite on HH. Healing Sig with a few leftover points will be sufficient. Otherwise another AoE attack (triple chop would be a better elite) in case CA doesn't kill them (maybe it does, I don't know). Maybe an energy based attack to kill off anything left over.

The drop rate affect does not affect fest items so equal amount in NM and HM

i think the triple chop build will be very useful because of conjure phantasm. if there was a bunch of gargoyles on u yes then it would be good but i think wat had was good. i tried to find another way to be more efficient and i came up with this

8 healing
8 smiting
6 str
11+3+1 axe
7+1 tactics

healing hands
cyclone axe
radiation field
penetrating blow
executioners strike
sprint
bonetti's defense
Balthazar's spirit

i have healing and energy management along with fast dps

Festival drops are not affected by the mode, rate of kill, or anything like that. As such, when farming for them the best thing to do is maximise kills/time. Normal mode means you're fighting level 5's or something like that. If you wanted good drops you would want to be in HM and farming somewhere else.

So ball them up. If you're in HM, you're doing it wrong, as I mentioned earlier. If you're in NM and can't ball, you need to learn how.

AoE kills > this, no doubt whatsoever.

Just easier to pump out 5 runs in NM with lvl7 mobs, than 1-2 runs in HM with lvl20 in the same time.

As already mentioned - nm is used for faster kills per hr as well as some builds need adjusting for hm.
In nm gargy`s degen skills only last a few secs opposed to hm where degen lasts a lot longer putting pressure on you as a strong heal is needed - and no hex removal doesnt always work with gargy`s in hm as soon as you remove another from the mob will re-add.
Nm gives you the kills due to low lvl foes and low ar/hp and a simple run can take a few mins and say for eg gives u 10 drops a run which is say 10 mins - enter hm and the same 10 drops may take 20 - 30 mins which like marty said unless your after better items you lose the speed for event items.
Out of the 3 foes you stated id ditch grawls and storm riders and stick to gargy`s - the first 2 trade 3:1 but gargys trade 2:1 and if you really wanted better trades then caromi scalps trade 1:1 but i always stick to gargys as they are soo easy in nm - used to farm them with a fire nuker build out of boredom.
Also if your thinking of selling the trophies at event - skulls will net you more a stack than the other 2 - because of the trade ratio , 3:1 means out of a stack the person gets around 80ish trade items where skulls gets 125 items per stack.
