Hello all, I'm quite new to the game and have recent started with the titles. However I'm a bit short on money do to spreading out my money for runes etc for my heroes and me. That said what I was hoping for is there any zone that can be so farmed using a Mesmer primary and monk secondary. Or at least a good chunk of it . Would appreciate any suggestions .

I'm not looking for a 100k easy shortcut. Just a place where I don't have to probably zone in and zone out every 1 minute to farm D: . Currently I just farm for feathers and sell them to traders.

The reason for the need for money is to buy stuff for titles like drunkard, party points, Sweet Tooth etc. I generally use the alcohol while vanquishing so its been accumulating up a bit but the presents from Nicolas tend to run out quite fast

It's an event item drop weekend, farm them now, that generally means the rezone type of farming. Boring, but way more profitable in and event weekend. Otherwise, feathers is pretty decent cash rate for casual farming.

And why /Mo? Surely you can change profession!

I could change the secondary profession if I knew what I could use. Also I noticed there is a farming section on pvx so I might check that out too

As for the event yes Ive been killing stuff for the snowman summoners, fruitcake etc.

I'm guessing that its better to do this solo as Ive read in threads where the loot is shared among heros and henchmen in earshot ?

Heros, Henchmen, and minipets have all been observed or revealed that they take drops. You never see the item drop or pop up in the chat log because upon killing an enemy, the game automatically allots items items and reacts accordingly. If the item is dolled out for one of these party members, it just hands it directly to them in a sense. If its allotted to a player, the item is spawned on the ground and a message is posted to alert less observant players.

Party size effects white item drops, the higher the party number, the more whites you'll get. Holiday items, greens, golds, gold (coins), tomes, and key drops are not effected by party size, However, the fewer party members means these items are more likely to be given to you instead.

And yes, if party members are out of radar range, item will not be allotted to them in the distribution process. The increased number of white drops still applies though.

you are better off selling feathers to other players or farm dust with it and make essence of celarity's and sell those to all the speed clear players

While back when I farmed feathers they were going for 10K for stack of 250. Don't know what the current rate is.

Hmmm I could farm dust

. Ive been getting plenty of those and didn't know what to do with it ! Ill check up how to create the essence. Thanks everyone for their input

Feathers are currently going between 8 - 8,5k per stack sometimes i even sell them for 10k
with mostly +100 feathers in 1 run it's a very easy way to get cash. Also sold conset for 8k ea.

I always get anywhere from 120-140 feathers per run when I farm, guess it varies per account.

there are a few farms - they aint exactly fast earning money tho but gd for a spot of fun.
55 mes/mo can farm hulks outside sardelic - you can get a bit of granite this way in hm.
Take the me/a vaetires build and apart from vaetires in eotn that can be farmed you can go to fire imps outside la and farm them for tomes/golds/charcoal - only mantra of earth needs changing to mantra of fire and a 10 ar vs fire shield.For ice imps/golems outside droks same build but again swap mantra to mantra of water and 10 ar vs water shield.
The build and setup for vaetires is on pvxwiki with full setup etc and isnt really that bad to expand on.
Personally i like quirky lil fun builds/farms that ok may not bring in huge amounts of cash but you can alternate them so drops dont start to get worse and it stops them being too boring - imagine doing raptors for a few hrs solid and how boring that would become.
