Default Raptors not aggro'ing properly

Lately I've been having a lot of problems raptor farming. At one time I could run into the cave, round up the raptors, a,nd drag them over to the corner to hit Hundred Blades. Lately however, the raptors on the far side opposite the Broodmother just aren't aggroing up unless I make 2-3 circles around that area. This usually results in me either getting killed or Mark of Pain wearing off.

Has anyone else noticed this behavior? I know Im in Hard Mode, so I have no idea what it could be. Any suggestions?

Your paragon hero is casting 2 +33% movement skills on you simultaneously (like Fall back and Make Haste). Even though IMS is capped at 33%, it does cause them to break aggro. Disable Fall Back! and only click it when you first zone.

I had problems using Incoming...they would break aggro even if it was the only speed boost for some reason. Changed it to Fall Back and it worked fine. Check what Voodoo said too and see if you can't get them to follow. Good luck.

Someone needs to go give those raptors a good talking too.

Imagine not blindly following the character into a death trap every time, don't know what this game is coming to.

Hmm, event weekend I was always buffed with 2 33% run skills, and never had any aggro problems.

Not sure what this whingin' is all about - really. And I almost never missed the boss kill, 'cept the occasional *initial* run (when I was rusty)...

EDIT: my buffs were: [vocal was sogolon][incoming][enduring harmony][make haste]

I just tested it. In HM if you have BOTH Incoming (or Fall Back) AND Make Haste active on you at the same time, the raptors WILL break aggro. You must have had Incoming worn off on you prior to entering the cave. Test it and see.

Tested, my [incoming] lasts 14 seconds, and i put it on just prior to buffing with [enduring harmony][make haste] (then flagging the paragon hero away). While both were active, I had no aggro problems - but the first thing I do is cast [mark of pain] on the closest raptor...
