I think the best way would be to use Wielder's Remedy after they use their distracting blow, then use Vengeful Weapon to remove dazed. I haven't been doin much UW with the build, so I haven't tested it on dazed yet. But its the quickest casting you can get for removing 1 condition. If you can figure out the timing on their Dazed skill, you might beable to avoid it. I do wish it would be easier to kill the grasp, sometimes you just gotta get lucky I guess. Best chance to kill them is when you get half recharge with VwK, so you can cast a 2nd one before they are able to daze you. You can try casting Prot. Spirit, then VwK just before aggro.... and make sure you get half recharge of VwK before running in. Otherwise, let energy gain up...renew Prot Spirit then try again on half recharge of VwK. Might Take alil longer, but if you have 40% recharge of Restoration it would be alot quicker. That just popped in my head, but I'm thinking it would work. I might have to try that out here sometime. It might increase your chances of surviving, and might fix the problem with Graspings.

I confirmed you can farm the Naga in jade sea, for the person that asked that question awhile ago.

You can also kill the Oni's like someone mentioned... they are difficult to work around their hex. Just cast Prot spirit soon as they spawn, then use VwK and spam Vengeful weapon... and soon as their hex wears off hit Prot spirit and Spirit Bond quickly.

I also found that you can farm the Sensali's in Jaya Bluffs, along with a few Yeti's. I farmed these Sensali's acouple times, but never got any golds....seems they dont drop any. but they should. Sensali's also can be kind of difficult to kill.

Can also farm the Am Fah in Wajjun Bazaar... take a left when entering area, and go up the first set of stairs by the Shrine. You should see some Am Fah back there, and plenty to farm. Just watch out for Traps by the Rangers, they will kill u. Am Fah have Sapphires that are on their list of dropped items. I haven't farmed them enough to see, so I haven't got any. Also, it may be possible to farm in the Undercity. I haven't tried it yet, but im sure there is something u can kill down there. I also been able to kill the Ele boss right outside Marketplace.

There are so many areas to farm with my build... discover new ones all the time.

This is awesome build. I've been farming undead in The First City and some mission in Kryta I forget. I've been tring to find some good places in Cantha. I have been doing luxon assassins. I've tried Kappa but never got any worthwhile drops; same thing with Naga. I actually tried wardens, but their knockdowns are hard to deal with.

It's ashame because my first drop in Napuh Quarter was a gold celestial bow. But then I stopped farming there because of the Spirit Lights. There has to be a way to counter them...

Only way to counter them is just run on by, and eventually shake them off. Just take out the warriors and rangers. Shouldn't have no problem with the lights following you, just use them up for energy gain. Just make sure to use Spirit Bond while using VwK once they start using Nightmare Weapon.

Update: I posted a thread of a tweaked version of this build for Mo/Rt. It's quite different with health, equipment, and attributes... but all in the same idea. It doesn't have the damage spikes the Rt/Mo has, but it will still kill enemies fairly fast. Definately faster than SoJ Monk builds. Its alittle more riskier knowing that you can take 60 damage when using VwK...but only steal 29 health of that damage. But that damage is reduced with SoA when using VwK. I added a link to the bottom of my build post.

Here is the Link anyways:
[Mo/Rt 600hp Vengeful Spirit Bonder (Rt/Mo 330hp Alternative)

Default New Places and Creatures to farm...

I had found some new places to farm different creatures. I remember someone mentioning about farming Vehjin Mines... I finally gave it a go. You can kill all the Behemoths in the area, including the Dervish boss. Behemoths drop alot of necro golds and necro tomes. You can also kill all the Hunting Minotuars in the area... Minos do take alil longer to kill as they heal themselves. But both of these seem to have decent gold drops. After you clear out Vehjin Mines of Behemoths and Hunting Mino's, you can go thru the zone to Holdings of Chokhin, and kill some more Mino's, and also to kill all the Beetles in the area. There is a beetle Ranger boss and the Harpie Sin Boss that can easily be killed. I cleared out both areas of these type of creatures in about hour and 40min. I came out with 8-10 gold items and about 5k in gold, with 1k sunspear points and stuff to sell to merchant. I ended up killing three bosses that include Marobeh Sharptail, Tenezel the Quick, and Hanchor Trueblade. So, during the whole run you have a chance to get some greens on top of everything else. Some of these can be kinda of difficult to deal with, but possible to kill. The run took me along time cause I ended up aggroin big groups of minos which lead to me either dying or just taking along time to kill them. It was also the first time I farmed in this area, so I didn't know what to expect. I'm sure I could do a full run in under an hour and half, maybe less. Definately get some nice golds that you wouldn't get farming anywheres else.

I also confirmed that you can kill the Djjin in Dasha Vestibule explorable area. You can clear the whole chamber at start, or atleast most of it. They take alil long to kill because of the Diamonds, but one way or another, they all die.

Seems the more I check out new areas, the more things I find out you can farm with this build. The build gets more and more amazing than I thought, the more I use it. Since you can farm alot more areas and creatures with just one set of skills, than any other build. I might make a new Misc farming video for some new areas and creatures that you can farm... but then again I might as well wait for EoTN to come out ot make new videos.

Where exactly do you farm the Naga in the Jade Sea? Most group I see have warriors, rangers and a rit. His weapon spell is a pain. Really like to get a jade sword to drop and the 2 likely mobs are the Yeti and Naga. Naga warriors have dist blow and Rits use weapon spell. How did you cope with those?

As for the Ele boss at Marketplace, is it Lian? If so those mesmer interrupts are quick and plentiful. Not sure how you got around the mesmer. If so, that would open up the whole area since it seems like every other mob has a mesmer with a rit, 2 ele and warriors.

All in all great build! Hadn't used my Rit for much farming til now. Now that my earth ele is nerfed, this more than makes up for it.

to Brandon1107

My advice if you want to farm Nahpui Quarter is to farm it with a 55 Monk/Necro, it is the fastest way i have seen or tried, and i've tried quite a few.

What i run is this.

13 Healing
12 Curses
8 Smiting
and whatever is left in prot, i think its 9 or 10

Spoil Victor
Scourge Healing
PS
HB
mending
balthazars
essence
vamp gaze (or any ranged non projectile attack that does at least 50 damage)

you can kill everything in there except the necro celestial, the mesmer is a bit of a pain though. i just leave all the celestials alone and kill off the star lights, blades and sentinels. just make sure you have something between you and the lights, so they can't hit you with nightmare weapon. their heals don't do much thanks to scourge, and spoil victor takes them down pretty fast. i've been able to kill 3 at once.

So you can kill the Naga in the Jade Sea? How do you kill the archers - I can't!

Please explain!

No great secret to it. They heal with Troll Unguent, true, but you will eventually bring them down with vengeful weapons and reversal of damage if you bring that. Just have patience, they do take a bit longer than the warriors.

Purifying Veil is going to be the best and only option for removing dazed in UW. This will mean you can succesfully get past the grasp almost everytime... It will work perfect. Won't cost no energy and nothin to cast, just double click on the enchant to remove dazed. UW will be more successful with this new skill... finally a GwEN skill pulled through for my build. Only thing left is to hope for Aura of Stability's usage to be changed to "Target Ally"... that way my build will beable to farm anywheres with knockdowns. I hope they will change it.

I will add Purifying Veil to the list of alternatives.

It's possible to kill them... however the rangers have concussion shot that will daze you if it interrupts a spell. Try casting VwK just before you aggro the group. Also you can add "Purifying Veil" instead of RoD to remove dazed if it occurs and better your chances on being successful.

Yes, Lian the Ele boss outside Marketplace can be killed (done it many times), and so can the Mesmers and Ritualists (though, it takes a long time to kill the Rits). The Mesmers will sometimes get lucky and interrupt Protective Spirit, but it doesn’t happen that often - they usually only interrupt Reversal of Damage. I can clear almost all the groups in the area except for groups with Monk/Necro combinations.

My eye caught this thread shortly after it was originally posted, but I still had to get my rit to finish factions. I've now been able to farm the suggested areas of luxons sins, stone elementals and jade knights. Kudos to Rezdogg! This build is great. Unfortunately I don't have Nightfall yet so it looks like I'm missing out on some great areas to farm there and I can't use the Reversal of Damage skill, but it does work really well.

I have noticed from time to time when I farm the luxon sins that for whatever reason right in the middle of the fight I die. It happens so fast that I can't tell what happened and the weird thing is I keep a very close eye on my enchantments and make sure Protective Spirit is always up and I use SB when VwK ends. I wonder if I hit some sort of lag period and on my screen Protective Spirit shows its up, but on the server side maybe it runs out. I usually try to recast it 5-10 seconds before it runs out just in case, but sometimes I still die. Nevertheless the rez shrine is really close and the DP goes away as soon as you hop back in there and kill a few sins anyway.

Awesome build! Great Job!

If you're recasting Spirit Bond during that time, it becomes ineffective, and if you don't have VwK up, you die really fast. e.g. Let's say you have 5 second of SB left. You recast it. For 5 seconds, it looks like you have the enchantment on you, but it doesn't take any effect for that 5 seconds. You have to recast it right after it expires.

Also, is your health at 330HP? You might have a little bit more, but you definitely don't want more than 375 Health.

The same thing happened to me when I started farming that area, and I realized I was making a really bonehead mistake.

I would target the Canthan nobles as I ran to them to spawn the assassins - of course once the sins spawn they go friendly - and would end up throwing PS, SB, et al on them instead of me.

I would guess something similar is happening to you, as those assassins don't have any form of enchantment removal.
