Default Darkrime HM Solo w/ Dervish

After testing, figured out a decent Derivsh solo for Darkrime HM.

Bar: Ogej8trGLTHQtX0kEYli1iRQuMA

Cons used: 3 redrock candies 1 per lvl and some dp removal.

Equipment: Sheild w/+45 stance or enchant +10 vs blunt, martial weap of enchant for running and martial weap of shelter for boss fights.

Lvl 1:

Use redrock and off to the races. Run as normal and use kegs to open walls and kill Jotun boss. (Keep conviction up while running) While boss is on you, you can alternate stances. (blind is very useful when u need to recast spells and IAU is not recharged. Continue running to key area, (remember to save IAU for vatteirs) grab key and continue to lvl 2.

Lvl 2:

Use redrock and take off running. Run to boss location and aggro boss. (helps to refresh all enchants right b4 aggroing) Once aggroed, run back past the rez shrine. This will lose aggro and boss will now be aggroable (word?) with a long/flat bow. During your time fighting the boss it is important to alternate stances wisely and keep shroud active. Since boss is war VoS up-keep is not needed. (if you want to speed this fight up u can also use a summon stone, I forgot during my timed run) Kill boss by spamming earbite+sig of infection...pick up key and run to lvl 3.

Lvl 3:

I don't think redrock is needed here tbh. Anyhow run to rez shrine outside of boss chamber. After activating it, pull all aggro away from shrine and wipe if needed to lose aggro. Boss chamber: Run in precast and aggro all jotuns in front and to the left of boss w/o aggroing the boss + wipe. Pull them far enough that you'll be able to aggro boss alone with bow once you have rez. Pull boss w/bow and again alternate stances wisely. (the lil trap/hut thing in the front is where I fought boss) Kill boss (again u can use summon to speed this up)and voila...Dervish Darkrime HM solo!

While I know this is not the most efficient way to solo darkrime, *cough*sin*cough* (full run took 27mins), it's sorta fun, at least imo.

Looks very tedious, is it pretty easy?

Used to be 5-8k. Since it is harder now...my guess 8-10k. If you have a Sin, I recommend using it, since it is easier.

Ofc the Derv run is harder than the Sin run....but, I get that lil bit of satisfaction knowing my Derv can do it as well. That being said...its not that easy, but like everything else...with practice it can become easy.

Yeah I am going to try a sin version right now to see how it goes.

Well I got through level 1 (bringing a stance that brings up movement speed is helpful because it helps to loose agro of extras), but wiped on lvl 2 boss (only had 1 dp removal). If I had a longbow on me i probably could have finished it. And any tips on how to avoid getting hit by jotuns? Unseen works, but not for long, and jotuns still get through my shroud. Thanks!

I used the red rock candies for this reason. It allows you to outrun everything. On the boss at lvl 2..precast and use conviction while initiating the pull. (75% blocking from shroud +50% from conviction+the 24armor+IAU) Pull back past the rez shrine..there is a point where they will stop following. Then use bow to pull boss alone..he seems to pull further than the others. Then its just a matter of using your stances wisely and shadow refuge. (there is no need to keep sf up while alone with boss) Hope that helps!

Ohhh I wasn't using conviction because I thought it had the same effect as pvp one. Thanks! I'm going to try again later on, I'll post later on how it goes.
