WEEK OF August 9
Keen Oni Talons - Onis

I used a Spirit Spammer.

Aside from 1-2 solo Krakens, you can avoid everything else.... until you get to the map spot of Krakens, there are 3-4 that easily die. Kill them first then pop the onis.

The drop rate sucks.

I was first doing just the first 3 spawns = 2m run
if you want the other 2 spawns... it'll be an extra 2-3m

You mean Morostav Trail. And I haven't seen one good spot to actually solo farm them. If anyone finds one tell me

I farmed them in Ferndale over by Nundak the ranger boss. I took a Rit spirit spammer and got three in my first run. This was in NM was an easy farm as long as they drop. I think my run was lucky as I have not had good luck with them dropping in the past.

Nundak is in Melandru's Hope, not Ferndale. Other than that, that area has been the best in the past for farming them, for me at least.

Soo... are you saying you were farming Nundak's "corrected" location, or the original location stated in rkubik's post???

Did abit of farming of the wallows in Melandru's Hope...Biggest pain is getting to that point. With a solo SoS build I strongly reccomend using one of your free slots for Mend Body and Soul (or some other condition removal), because the rot wallows cast spells that try and stop you from moving, and this makes it abit more annoying to try and dodge the arrows from the dredge which are poisoned. On my first run I was dying after every two groups because of poison and going too fast, but with the condition removal I could still keep going fast.

Of course, you could just let the spirits take all the aggro or interrupt poison arrow if you see it being cast, but this is farming...You want to go as fast as possible.

I disagree. I really don't see the need for MBaS. Just drop the spirits, pull the mob (a grand total of 2 foes), lead them into the spirits and you can stand around just behind the spirit ball and they'll completely ignore you. I don't know how much armor your Rit has (mine has 88/96AL); maybe it makes a difference. Shadowsong also completely shuts them down so that might the issue as well.

Go all offensive. You really don't need any healing other than Vampirism and the regen you get from the shrine bonus (needed to offset poison). Just set your spirits and stay behind them. I farmed 10 truffles fairly readily, which I used to think was one of the most rare Canthan New Year's Feast items in the game. I also ended up with both a Nunduk bow and that Rot Boss' worthless green.

Sure if you don't get afflicted with poison from the dredge I'm perfectly fine with that method. Really depends on playstyle. If people get hit by poison and their only regen is vamp spirit they will lose a big chunk of their health unless they remove it. Theres plenty of room in the farm slot for something like MBaS so even if its not needed its there in case you slip up and get hit by poison arrow.

Not a fan of using shadowsong myself in general farm/play, but its one of many options that one could use for negating enemies in this farm.

If you get the blessing, it gives you +3 Health regeneration. This will make the poison only degen you for a net of -1 degeneration. That amounts to a loss of health of only 2 per second (not significant at all).

If you want to kill the bosses ok, otherwise I'd rather not spend the money on the blessing, not like its much though so if you want to take the blessing instead go for it.

Point is if you missed it from my previous post...There are multiple ways of going about the farm. Everyone has posted their suggestions which I also think work fine, so I am just chucking in my 2 cents, seeing as there are NO bar problems with a farm like this.

WEEK OF August 23
2 Glowing Hearts - Fire and Inferno Imps

I used a Spirit Spammer. I brought 3 heros since I wasn't sure what I was going to encounter on my way there. I flagged them after I zoned. They are not needed at all.
Run out of Temple of Ages South West towards Talmark Wilderness.

Once in Talmark Wilderness you will run into a couple of push over Fog Nightmares. There are a few Ancient Oakhearts . I kill them for plant fibers.

This run has over 50 Fire Imps. Once you are done, zone into Majesty's Rest and rinse/repeat if you want. I did 2 runs and ended up with 19 glowing hearts.

About ~20 imps on the way, starting almost right after LA. Much more convenient, imo.

Theres also the one going out left after leaving sanctum cay. One big mob after avoiding some skales, then a big mob after the first big mob where theres only a pinesoul and an aloe in the way. All are reasonable farms. Got 8 hearts (admittedly lucky, had like 4-5 drop in a row from each imp which was amazing.) from one run going from sanctum cay.

Pretty easy farm too, I preferred using a SF death blossom assassin over something like SoS. SF isn't even needed with high crits and way of perfection, but it stops the imps healing themselves when casting spells. Doable in HM, but I don't know why you really need to when the aim is hearts...So many builds can do this farm.

They're so easy to farm you may aswell do it HM though and improve your chances of getting other worthwhile drops (like Tomes) while you are at it.

Did it very easily in HM with a Shield Of Regen Wammo. The Fire Imps seem a little harder than the Inferno Imps, which surprised me (seems they appear earlier in the game), but still perfectly easy to beat regardless.

Ive been farming them with my 330 Ele in Talmark Wilderness HM, usually get an average of 10 hearts per run and loads of Charcoal, in HM they drop 5 lumps at a time, also got a Sapphire and a few lockpicks and some half decent gold drops at times

Mostly Gypsie Ettens here... May have to kill a group of birds when zoning back into Nebo Terrace.

Do run, zone to North Kryta Province, zone back, rinse & repeat. I believe I averaged 2 Humps per run.

Went solo, NM, RiT 2nd, SoS.
