Default Spiders: Still Worth It?

Hi everybody,

Because of scale looting I usually go Spider farming 2 or 3 times, and every now and then I get a Gold or the Elite Ranger Tome and I'm happy with that.

I know raptors are better, and I farm them way more, but I'm just wondering if Spiders are still worth mass-farming in similar ways? If we had Leechers for Spiders, would it provide better results (not faster results obviously) than Raptors?

I dont think i know what spiders you mean - unless you mean arachnis haunt.
Oh leechers and raptors - can see the usual debate starting up here ( runs for cover ).
Im curious to know where these spiders are so if possibly could you give more details and maybe someone else would be able to answer.

No he means Zehnelun Fastfoot outside Rilohn Refuge.

to answer your question; Not so much. You say you are happy with the occasional Elite Ranger tome and gold drop. Then go for it. Nothing changed at those spiders in the last couple of months, so you can still probably do it.

However, there are way more profitable farms out there. Raptors is one of them (best done during ingame events, for the special drops). Vaettirs in Jaga Moraine HM are also very nice and can easily be done with Elementalist and Assassin (there are more builds of diffrent professions, those 2 classes are probably the best though). Feather farming is popular if you want some quick cash.

Sinway dungeon speedclears are growing in popularity, which have a possibility of very rare drops. Then there still is Domain of Anguish DWG-way, able to complete DoA in around 1h30 mins in NM and able to take almost every class.

Get yourself to DoA. Gems will be falling out of your pockets in no time.

I do go to DoA, but nobody believes a N/Rt can run DwG. :/

Apparently Putrid Explosion when units are grouped up is useless.
