Nice collection.

If the last post on a build thread was several months ago, is it safe to say it is no longer viable? Would it be best to post on that thread, even if the last post was a year ago?

I'd hate to be 'The Thread Necro'

Not necessarily. Most builds have remained relatively untouched, its just that other builds can be more profitable.

You might wanna add/ try this build. It can solo most of the Plain of Jarin in HM. I did not try this build on other locations yet , but i´m pretty sure it can be used elsewhere.

Strength : 15
Swordmanship : 14
Healing Prayers : 8

I use Survivor armor with sup sword and sup strength and some vitae runes. Normal my health is 500 , but one takes almost no dmg at all , so feel free to use the build with lower HP.

On beginning put the enchantments up. ( 7 and 8 on skill bar )

Agrro and use doylak and Vigorous Spirit. As soon as Defy Pain can be used , use it and then keep spamming 2,3 and 4 ....

Keep Defy Pain up as much as possible.

Maybe not the fastest build around , but one takes almost no dmg at all and earn a few K´s per run.

I come across quite a few assassin using my build lately around the Kaimeng city area. A lot of them new to sin farming.
Might have something to with that they more easily can get, or already have the sin skills needed over so I'm going to post a link to it here.

With all of the nerfs are most of these builds still workable or do most not work anymore

Honestly, you're better off with PvXWiki. I haven't really been maintaining this. A lot of the SF stuff either doesn't work or needs a build overhaul. A lot of the other stuff probably works, but isn't very profitable compared to the new farms. PvX is easier since the whole community puts it together and manages it, whereas this is just one list from me (and I'm not the best judge of what's going to work or not anyway).

This sticky* should either be maintained or deleted, it seems to be a waste of space even though it has the potential to be a decent list of builds....sadly no one updates them or removes ones that aren't working.

Yeah, I kinda agree... I mean, MAYBE some of it's still viable but it's now 2010 and I know for a fact that while Hulking Stone Ele's are still killable, it doesn't mean that all those will be. A lot of skills have changed since I last played in jan of '09 (Recently back). I went to PvX wiki but the way they apparently do it now you have to download ALL the farming builds to get them..? >_< That just seems clumpy to me.

You don't need to download them. You must be clicking on the build packs link. If you click on the links in the table below those you can view individual builds.

Anyway, this has gotten pretty useless, as I've mentioned a few times. Time for this to be unstickied, I think.

Hmm - time i think for us farmers to pull together and start work on a new updated thread .
If i can get enough ppl who are willing to spend a bit of time checking builds / improving etc and we may be able to have a new sticky and credit will be given to all that help.
I wont make a new topic untill i know we have enough ppl so to offer help just leave me a pm and i`ll post on here when we have over 10 ppl and will get it going.

That also works really well in the snowman dungeon too.
