After each enchantment is cast, let your energy gain back up because the environment effect will become a problem.

Mesmer: Xisni Dream Haunt, Mourning Veil Falls outside Durheim Archives.
Used E/A. Annoyances: (a) when entering zone, there is a group of insects that can be easily aggro-ed; (b) Warden mob that heads to Xisni Dream Haunt, if it contains a warrior then Sliver seems to always target him.

Just farm non-bosses in HM, they'll drop a normal tome of their profession. e.g the undeads in "Fahranur, The First City" are warriors and necros, so those are the tomes you'll get if you farm them.

I use a different build (I didn't come up with it, though):

Shadow of Haste
Glyph of Elemental Power
Kinetic Armor
Shadow Form
Death's Charge
Sliver Armor
Obsidian Flame
Dash

Mystic Twister goes through Shadow Form, so you need a way to deal with it--which is why Kinetic Armor is there. Dark Escape is another good way to deal with it (probably better for A/Es).

The Guild Leader of the 1000 Daggers guild. He's dropped at least 20 Elite Assassin tomes for me. He can be SS'd/SV'd really easily. He's part of Halycon Luxon farming.

many of the e/a solo farm bosses you mention, i use the a/e variation. and for the dervish, there is an easier boss, Fahralon the Zealous, just bring Dash and Armor of Earth/Feigned Neutrality while fighting him using the a/e shadow boss farm build. In addition, i found it possible to farm Exuro Flatus with the same build as well, just aggro one shadow army mob and you are good to go (unless followed by a shadow warrior, which screws things up).

Yeah I farm Fahralon a lot, hes a really easy farm, even nets a few LB points

Sell the scythe 10k, elite tome 10k... drops other good stuff also and is normally a locked chest in his group.

For farahlon, take the normal build but armour of earth instead of a run spell, done right he dies easily and you can easily take on another one enemy for the chance of a rare drop [I killed an extra enemy and for a r11 insc. gold felly

Are there any farmable bosses in Tyria?

All of the bosses mentioned here seem to belong in either Cantha, Elona or GW:EN. I've only unlocked HM for Prophecies, sadly.

I have never seen this boss drop an elite tome, can you confirm this?

I use my 55 monk to farm the gates of kryta mission for the bosses that spawn in the beginning. The ranger boss is the only one that i can't solo because of all his interrupts and troll ungent.

55-SV Necro works there perfectly, run by the mob in the corridor (they will disengage right before you run into mobs downstairs), stand by the wall (some time you need to wait until he walks in your aggro bubble) and SV Stonereap, all you need is Mending on you, do not put anything else on, as he will use other skills and will add heavy degen and removes all enchantments on you. After that your way to Stonewrath is clear.
