Just wondering if someone could tell me what they think is the best class for soloing farming while also being good at group farming(with real ppl) and vanquishing. I have looked at all the builds on wiki and really cant tell what class is good, lately i been using my monk for VSF, rit for UW farming, ele for vanquishing, and been working on imbagon paragon which im not even sure ill use and a mesmer im not even sure what ill use it for.

Personally, I'd suggest character diversity, anyway. Sin is (obviously) common for farming, but there are some really strong dagger builds that you can use in team settings as well.

ritualists are good for farming they can run spirit spammer builds and solo farm most enemies with ease. they can also join a variety of speed clears.

mesmers have become more acceptable these days - specially panic mesmers.
My mes has always been welcomed in an alliance team doing stuff and its quite gd fun but end of the day what chr is used to farm and/or do pve can depend on what and where and your own preference.
On here you can ask "whats gd for farming and pvs" and you will get 10 types of responces which covers all 10 professions - but it is up to you what you go for.
Check out pvxwiki ( or gwpvx as its now called ) for ideas and builds for places and also check thru the farming section on guru - then decide what to use
