Hello all,

I am trying to kill Rand Stormweaver in normal mode to run it for
HM dungeon books, but once there at his group I can't find ANY way
how to kill him with his dwarven group (there is a defender in it).

It has to be done with 3 persons or less.

PS: Rand Stormweaver has an INSANE amount of energy and he will use
Concussion shot on you and always daze you, even if he didn't intterupt your skills.

Even smite/600hp would propably not kill him since his troll unguent and passive regain makes him hard as hell to kill.

Killing all the groups etc. on the way to him would be no problem, but avoiding would be the best (aka recall jumps and rez shrine skips).

AND NO I do NOT need a 8man teambuild because i know its easy to h/h it.

Please help me out with this dilemma!

ofc Duo Way wich is very fun to do but you requested 3 man or less so ill make it a trio... wich is ofc safer

kill this order:

Defender -> Other healers -> all the rest (leave warriors alive) -> degen rand with CoP, DN, EN and empathy the warriors then.
finish rand after warrs. warrs provide nice energy.

Stand in spirit range of ALL summits (cleaver aswell, might be tricky but hes a warrior with a rezz... if you can't be in S. range of him, let AMe kil lhim first.

Thanks alot! For helping me out on this case,
So basicly you guys kill the group of Wolves first so the a/mo and a/r can be in range
and then the a/me goes behind that rock and uses his skills to kill stuff.

On a side note though which order of using skills you got to use to kill them off?

PS: The guy who did it solo, didnt you get dazed or anything behind that rock? and how did you get all the energy to kill his group?

Besides that there is a summoner in that group, so if you kill the healers first he makes alot of minions with death nova etc how can you survive that?

O and and Pogi you said to break agro at end but hows that possible because there are 2 dwarven warriors aswell there, ps: even dash won't break that aggro i tried it alot of times before most of the times it failed even if i timed it perfectly that it ended at the corner at the wall. Can't you just kill the wolf group infront so the 2 assas can wait there?

The run will take forever if you focus down the defender. Key to the run is to gradually degen the entire group out while taking down the dominator and cleaver, which have a hard rez. Once you've exhausted the energy of the group and they're starting to get low just from constant ether nightmare, make sure that both the dominator and cleaver will die at nearly the same time(switch back and forth with empathy). If they don't, burn a CoP to interrupt the Rez of whichever dies. To maintain energy, maintain SoF on both Rand and the distractor as much as you can. Admittedly, Rand himself will take quite a while and energy won't be fun. Try to interrupt troll with CoP, even though it's recharge is very low.

The spot i'm standing in the screen is not where you want to stand for killing the group. There's another little rock jutting out from the wall about a half agro bubble up, and that's where you should stand. You'll be obstructed from everything but the 2 warriors.

Remember, there's usually a blasphemer in Rands group. If you kill the cleaver, get away from that corpse as soon as possible or you'll get hit by WotP.

You don't need an anti kd to get there. Pop a cupcake(might want a corn too, you'll be weakened at Rand by desperation blow) and run to Rand. Make sure to ranger step as you're going because it's quite possible to get hit by crippling shot. I'd also recommend a zealous spear and scythe to allow you to spam more.

Thanks I did it solo first time took me 50mins, then it took 26 and then 17mins! (used quite some cons though
