Default Most Efficient farms (long run)

Hi,
I would consider myself a casual gw player, i only did missions, alot of PVP (lol), nothing much, pve -wise, so i am no pro, probably boderline newb. Whenever i needed money i did stuff like raptors or trolls. Recently i started dabbling in high end areas, like DOA and FOW. After 1 day doing DOA I made more money than i think ive ever had in my entire gw career. Kinna makes trolls seem like chickenfeed, really.
Nywayz on to my dilemma. Ive been doing extensive research on various SCs and what items, exclusive to each respective dungeon/mission, yields the highest return compared to the average dungeon completion time. Problem is its been very hard getting info on how many drops the average player recieves in 'x' amount of runs. For example, how many gemsets a player attained in 10 runs ,with ~4 failed runs, or how many Frog scepters a player or a random party member received after 'x' succesful runs. I want to farm the most profitable area (minus any outlier drops Eg. three BDS in succesion).
So based the cumulative experiences of various players in SCs i hope to come up with the most Efficient SC (profit wise over the long run).
Responces are greatly appreciated.

Most efficient farm is definitely DoA. You are guaranteed gems in certain numbers depending on game mode.

1 - 2 - 3 - 4 in a full run in NM

2 - 4 - 6 - 8 in HM Usually if you change up your starting areas an armbrace is achievable in 2-3 full runs (regardless of wether you waste time doing Mallyx)

DoA or running people through dungeons can yield immense returns. Find a dungeon that is relatively easy to run and doesn't require much cons (Oola's lab comes to mind). Charge 5k and you can make 30-35k in a 20 min run + time it takes to get people. For oola's it only requires a red/blue rock candy and mabye a cupcake if you want easy mode. Comes out to 70k an hour with the chance of storm daggers/clockwork scythe and quest reward.

Here is just some raw data from my SC days
150 Soosc runs (4BDS's q9 divine, q11 divine, q something illusion, and q something air, saw around 20~BDS's drop)
50 BogrootSC runs (1 Froggy q9 ES, saw around 7-8 froggies drop)
10 Oola solo runs (q13 clockwork and no storm daggers yet)

The problem with asking how many drops etc a run is its down to luck in most places.
2 prime examples are vsf and say bds - going by market prices/ availability and from players themselves the chances can be very small - if the items were constant then prices fall quite a bit as everyones getting them.
Also in the past you often get on guru players asking about drops as they have done xx runs and never had one drop or from chest.

Going by tuna`s data - Soosc 24 bds in total over 150 runs is something like 1 in 6 runs may yield but we know it doesnt work that way and 30 runs could be run in succession with no drops.

Id say go doasc as thats probably one of a few farms/sc that will give you a min income that beats the others.

@tuna_fish_sushi Very nice info. Thank you very much, ill have to factor in running too it seems.

@spiritz I hear ya. But im hoping to get around this by getting a large enough sample, maybe min 40 players. You can say my data colllection is already flawed since im only collecting from players who use GWGuru, but if i dont find more here, ill search around else where. If i get info from just about 40 players it should be sufficient to represent what the ACTUAL figures are, theorecticaly at least. Based on my findings i will hold everything fixed except price, so the data should be accurate until there is a massive change in the gw player base (gw2).

Again, thank you for all responces. hope to hear from more!

i aggree with tuna fish... learn a more harder dungeon i would say... but idk how experianced you are... (you say more newb... wel lafter about 4-5 times the average person got this dungeon about done... you can always ask me (fly is fake sin) to go with you on your first run... i help you, run you further if you die... but ofc i don't pay sounds logical)but if you are good(wich i should think... i played PvP alot aswell and it surley inspired my tactical GW brain )... you can always visit Aria Razerblade and fly is fake sin their dungeon solo sin guide post here on farming... (i'm fly) take for exemple Frostmaw. its one of the best to be honest.

lets do the math with the least amount of cons used by the average person.
not all the prices are perfect... some to much some to low... should be good at end)

lvl 1: cupcake (500G )
lvl 2: essence Of celerity (4000 G) | cupcake (500G)
lvl 3: full conset (very safe) (8000G) |candy apple (150G) | blue rock (1000G)
lvl 4: cupcake (500G)
lvl 5: candy Apple (150G)
__________________________________________
olmost 15K... lets take 15K as some ppl use even more cons.
this might sound alot to you... but lets see the time and $/ea.
agian most average.
lvl 1: 0 min
lvl 2: 6 min
lvl 3: 16 min.
lvl 4: 3 min
lvl 5: 3 min
___________________
28 min. so also here lets easy the count to 30... you never know you lagg or so .

now the $/person

you can charge 20K/3e/4 zkeys/6-7 shards easely ea.
wich will give you:

7 x 20 000 = 140 000 ... ask atleast 2 people to pay in ecto's/zkeys/shards .. ;as you can only stock 100K at once.

so when you sold your ecto's/keys ... you end up with 140K - 15K = 125K in what? 30 min + team form (10 min) = 40 min...

so you got about 250K in lets take 1 hour and a half...
and don't forget the chance in the chest of:
prices could be agian a bit wrong... but in big lines they should match a bit

silverwing : Q9 = 150e
demoncrest spear: Q9 = 30e
Demon fangs : Q9=30e
Kinslayer bow: (greeny) 15e
boncage scythe: Q9=100K=15e
and the quest reward of 2K ..; and ofc the norn rep .. .wich is first time about 5K and then always about 2K... this fills nice and fast.
