i suggest going through those forums and btw this is right there in the rules:

1. Don't be lazy.

Before making a thread, do as much as you can to help yourself. It is unfair to expect other people to spend their time helping you when you haven't spent any time yourself. If you make a thread and it is obvious you haven't done so, it is highly likely your thread will be closed. Threads that state 'Can someone tell me some good builds', or something to that effect, will always be closed, as this information can easily be found elsewhere. It is expected that you look through the online resources and search (both manually and using the search function) through the forum before making threads.

Some resources you may find useful include the Official Wiki, the Unofficial Wiki, PvXWiki (for builds), the 'How to Make Money' thread, YouTube (for tutorial videos), the stickies in each subforum, and possibly the FAQ in the Questions and Answers forum if your question is more generic.

In addition, if you haven't been successful in finding what you need, give us as much information as you can. Information such as which campaigns you own, whether you regularly play with a friend/family member, specifically where you're having issues, or whether you play in any way that would somehow influence your question. This helps people address your problem as specifically as they can.

The only real answer is this ..
There isnt really A profession for solo.
firstly 1 person cannot farm entire gw solo on only 1 chr - theres too many anti this or anti that foes .. 55 monks know this.
Not every build will work everywhere.
Farming wise you ( and i mean only YOU ) will be able to choose what chr to use but remember that a lot of good farms require hardmode ( not hard to get if all campaigns done already on a chr ) and a true farmer would say acess to every zone in gw and that itself means doing whole of gw on that chr.
You see at times posts from players who are w/x and wanting to know what gd farms they can do and suddenly being told - err raptors and maybe a few others .. they cant believe theres nothing much around.
Trying to find an all round class that you feel comfortable with - not everyone likes melee and some hate casters etc etc - your chr is what your going to be spending a lot of time and work on and you have to be able to use it or its builds properly.
Just as an example from a few years ago - one of the most common farming builds was 55 monk or 55 necro ... but not everyone could get to grips with it fully and often guru had posts off ppl saying they wasted xxxxx gold on setting up armor/skills an they cant use it.Infact a lot of players now ask beforehand how much the setups going to cost so they can judge for themselves before wasting money.
Farms can also change at a drop of a pin after an update - good example was a terratank ele ( earth tank ) - when obby had restrictions the terratanks were left behind to gather dust as not many teams had a use for them. After a buff they came back into fashion and same with mesmers - used to be frowned upon and unwanted but after a nice mes buff having a panic mes ( even hero ) in team was widely acceptable.
So now its up to you - go thru the campfire section and check all professions , see what farms are going and also check if they are a longtime farm ( been going for a yr or 2 ) then decide whats best for your ability and go from there.
