Default Farming Spots of Today

I'm a level 20 Hammer W/E in Prophecies Campaign, I also have Factions and Nightfall but I'm still doing Prophecies almost done with the campaign.
I'm trying to find a good farming area with lots of enemies for items to sell for gold and gold in general. Basically, I'm trying to make tons of gold, save up, and make some Elite armor and for other things.

My current farming area is full of enemies but rarely any drops, all the time gold, sometimes items, and rarely green items. I sell the items(excluding green items, still have to sell them) and one run in about 30 minutes, I can make about 1-2 plat. - I have no idea how much the green items are but I probably can make more then I think on them, I'm going to post in price check for prices on them.(Check there right now if you want to help me with the prices.)

I was wondering where there might be really good farming spots for what I'm looking for. If your afraid of saying it on here and getting it nerfed then just private message me.

Thanks!

DoA tag along with glaiveway's best money there is out there atm nothing else is really worth considering since drop rates are ungodly low or the items soo common its worth nothing for example i tried raptor farming last week in 13 runs i got literally 1 purple dye, 3 saurian bones and a random white TOTAL

Edit: "i tried raptor farming last week in SUCCESSFUL 13 runs i got literally 1 purple dye, 3 saurian bones and a random white TOTAL" (cuz i know someones gonna suggest it)

My heart sort of dropped when i saw the w/e part.
Solo farming there isnt that many solo farms the war can do thats even profitable , only thing sadly the war can do a gd job on is raptors.Team farming is a diff case doa and other places may use war - id suggest having a glance at pvx at team builds for doa/uw/fow and possibly speedclears just to get an idea what could be done and what you need build and place wise.

If you have other chrs then its a lot easier to farm solo wise.
Common mistake of players is thinking war is the chr who can do the most but in reality they are mainly tanks , high ar yes but seriously low ( 2 pips ) energy regen which really hinders things.Solo wars are hindered - team wise they can be a vital tank while the rest of team kills the mob.
Lastly even tho many will say RAPTORS!!! - raptors isnt everything and even tho i have myself a war , she has never bothered with raptors at all.The way raptors comes across is "the only place a war can solo ( and even that solo requires a hero so not true solo ) and farm " which isnt the wars fault ( blame anet who nerfed raptors for 8 professions in 1 fell swoop ).

on your warrior you could do glaiveway or FoWsc atm for some eash cash imo, Also did you use a hero with raptor farming and flagged him away? cause that droprate sounds unreal also you shouldn't really bother with raptors imo they're only worth farming with event items

Once you have completed Prophecies you can play hardmode. As spiritz says there isnt much you can solofarm.
But there is one place, stone eles outside Ascalon in hardmode. They give lots of granite which sells at high price, you can also get some charcoal and with luck rubys or sapphires, but thats rare. Plus various weapons and around 100g if they drop cash. You can easily earn 15-20k per hour there.
Yes I know very well that other farms like DOA or speedclear yield way more, but if you are not an expert player this is a fine place to start.

I suppose it's also worth mentioning the feather farm in Jaya Bluffs (Factions), since it's as easy as it gets (being NM) and quite profitable (250 feathers=10k, and you usually get 60-70 feathers per run). It takes 10-15min to complete the farm, and you also get lots of runes, insignias and dyes, occasionally a (non-max) gold item. The only downside I can think of is the run being boring. I used to listen to audiobooks to fix this; I suppose you can even watch movies, it's that easy.

2-4K per hour is not farming, it's wasting your time! You will get more than that just playing the game normally with full H/H dong quests, missions and dungeons, or zaishen bounty/wik day quests. Most greens are worth 35-60 gold so do't bother attempting to sell them, if you want to, go after spwcific greens that may be worth a few K, but even then you will probably spend more time trying to sell than farming them.

QFT.

You could do nothing but Thackeray's solo missions and make more than that. Plus you'd be getting trophies to help you make (and sell) oppressor weapons.

Also, don't know why no one's mentioned it, but Warriors still have some farming options in UW, most notably Smite Crawlers. Sure, the farm is a bit harder than it used to be thanks to the skelies, but its still very doable. Once you got the hang of it, the ecto drops alone would net you a better profit than you're currently getting.

Does it sound like I have very many options? I don't, that's why I'm asking for help on farming spots.

I'd suggest before you look into farming, complete the 3 campaigns on normal and then hardmode, after you do that, you'll be more familiar with game mechanics, and if you decide you need to farm, you'll probably decide you should roll another character for solo farming, or you can get into some of the elite end-game areas and farm with a team.

I couldn't disagree more. Wars can farm a lot of places. Are their options more limited than a sin or ele? Sure. But to say that raptors are the only option is wrong. They key to farming is to target the specific item you'd like to farm. I can do the Jaya feather run in 11 minutes or less, faster than a Rit. Raptors are okay, but IMO only on special weekends where they drop sweet/party items, etc, that you can sell. Also, check pvx for farming builds. Smite farming and beach farming come to mind immediately.

Feather farm. At the moment it's 11k a stack. On the run salvage for iron and other mat. Skip wood mat. Plus you'll get some good runes to.

The build was posted by CE somewhere in the farming threads.

TBH I would just Roll a new char for farming. Factions is the fastest place IMO to get up to level(easily doable in a day), and has the best Feather Farm (jayla Bluffs). Rit's and Assassins give you hordes of farming options so I'd recommend either class. I'd lean toward Rit for easy mode purposes though. Assassins take a little skill and some learning curve in the farming builds.

I mean compared to other professions in general - Fow i never really suggest because it ( like uw and w/rt used to be ) takes practice and a lot of "new farmers" get put off when you pay for armor/runes then find after a few runs its too hard and money wasted.
But general solo farming wars are towards the bottom of the scale - and im not a warrior hater , just wish anet gave them better energy pool.
Feathers isnt really a good farm to use as an example as all professions can farm them with ease.
I still say warriors were designed as tanks in mind and thats the usual problem.
Sins do have a wide range of places they can solo farm and quite a few without even using SF , a/d with mystic regen can farm the plants and termites in nf solo hm as well as hulks in prophs which also a war can ( as well as the other profs ) .But thats not to say a sin is best and war is worse - I always think of war as the team player and main tank but apart from a few places like doa/fow/uw there never seems to be many team farms - plenty of sc`s which i dont really think as farms.
