Default Farming Plains as A/D

Thanks to the new Derv update, us permas can farm plains again!

Build

Deadly paradox
Shadow Form
Shroud of Distress
Signet of Mystic Speed <--------the reason why
Sand Shards
Mystic Sandstorm
Meditation
Optional

Gear:
Standard perma gear Blessed with attunes

Attris
12 +1 +3 Shadow arts
9 scythe mastery
3 Crit Strikes
4 Wind prayers
8 Earth prayers

How-to:
Use heroes to clear labs, i personally use an SoS hero, a Ua monk and a SS necro but its down to personal preference. Then run to plains, avoiding chargeds, and start killing ^^. Use meditation---> mystic sandstorm to reduce rupt rate to about 1 in 10

WARNING:
IF you Refresh signet before its used, it will NOT Refresh the amount of charges. This means if you use signet, cast SF, use signet, cast Shroud, IT will be used up.! Beware!
Closing comments : Happy we can farm plains again, and really hoping you can fine tweak and tune this guide to get some good speeds out of it!

EDIT : Swapped out reap +thorns for eremites + staggering. sandstorm vs reap is still undecided. Sandstorm does alot when it goes off, but cannot guarentee it.

Edit 2: Meditation mystic sandstorm now used. Optinonal slot being tested

Any questions/advice PM Last Sinny Survivor.

The dervish update didn't change signet of mystic speed and it is just a speed boost. I don't see how it is now viable as to before the update. Shadow form can still interrupted by leech signet.

it did, check in game/ wiki notes ^^. It makes SF/Shroud instant cast, and theirfore uninteruptable

Signet of Mystic Speed: added activation time of 1 second; changed functionality to: "For 30 seconds, your next 1...3...3 self-targeting enchantments cast instantly. Flash enchantments do not consume uses of this skill." "

You are right I just checked in game. I was looking at this thread
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/u...t10470267.html
of all the updates but apparently it is missing signet of mystic speed change. Also wiki hasn't been update yet :P

EDIT: even the dev's explanation of the update skills doesn't have this listed.

Wow i've missed it too. Next 3 self target skill insta cast? Veeeery nice. It could even replace things like glyph of concentration/mantra of resolve, if they're used only to mantain SF/Shroud.... Just random toughs.

As there is no running skill in that bar I assume, yes you need something like that to boost your speed. Just like in any other planes-build up till now you need some kind of boost, so if there is no in the build you need something external.

It's a Nm build. And no you do not need a speed boost, but it makes it a tad quicker. To get there without a boost, clear up to the ent to mountains, then run up mnts, turning right at the first chance, then left up the hill, right again and continue to plains.

Been playing around with A/D and it works, its just rather slow and annoying with mindblades retarded AI and random sporadic movement. Still managed to get 2ecto in like 25min work, but this just doesnt seem fast enough to be worth it to me.

And Ermite's Zeal is def the best choice for e managment

Umh, i found Eremite's Zeal better too. But the damage seems too sloow imo. I've died at the third spawn of mindblades, cause they was able kill me(even under SF+SoD) before i to kill them i guess. And i was using shadow refuge for extra heal+shadow escape for run there. Also,i had a horrible drop rate.
