It is possible but with the nerfs to QZ and EW it is VERY time consuming. On addition to that its difficult to solo trap the skele's o' dhuum.

In short: yes, but takes 2 hours.

Get a trapping partner

Yes, it is still possible to solo trap Underworld in Normal mode. Try reading the rules and using search next time. Here's a link to one working build.

Lack of QZ and EW doesn't actually make trapping significantly longer using this method, although trapping is still slow.

I've tested that build in hard mode; it is not reliable any longer. The links have been edited to reflect this. It still works in normal mode.
