Default A/E or E/M for solo farmming?

It seems like, on paper, the E/M would be better at just about everything involving balling and killing, but A/E seems to be the current meta. Here's basically the two builds I'm talking about:

A/E:

E/M:

The second seems near invincible for spin farmming, and should be more than enough to reduce all incoming damage to 0, whereas the second seems much more risky, and relies on a zealous scythe for recharging.

Can I get some input before I start making a character to farm on?

It solely depends on the area. There are parts where A/E is better and parts where E/Me is better. A/E has more mobility. Shadow Steps and having to cast less spells. Also the allowance of IMS skills for sins that eles and mesmers dont get easily. Also for say Underworld you pretty much have to use a sin in mountains because you need to attack. Obby Flesh eles just can't pull outside of earshot.

Depending on the area you dont even need armor of earth. you just have to try it yourself and figure out what works the best.
