Default Items Worth Alot Of Money, From quests?

I've recently done the "War In Kryta" Set of quests, and those 23 Royal gifts, along with an Oppressor weapon from the medals of honor were worth quite alot of cash. Any other quest or set of quests out there with good items? That players will pay alot of money for?

Curiosity ;P

Thanks!

Titan HM quests give gold zcoins if you're up for it.

When you say "a lot of money" then no, at least what many of us consider a lot.

The Winds of Change Quests give ruby/sapphire etc if that is what you mean.

If you are after a windfall, farm or play Tyria/Cantha and pray for a nice q9 max weapon with sought after max inherents and wanted skins

to be honest not many quests can be farming like that. your more likely to make more money farming items themselves.

Depending on your definition of 'a lot', the -50health Grim Cesta from one of the quests in Old Ascalon is good. They usually go for about 5k, though I wouldn't think demand is as high now as it used to be.

I went after that weapon casually and it took me 7 hours of solid gameplay. Now I'm sure you can speed that time up considerably but even then it's not going to be worth the 5k-10k.

The best 'quest' I think of to farm would be FoW. Everyone does it for a reason.

Doing FoW to get rich is a bad idea. the best way to make money if your not in a good SC guild is to go and do frostway until you want to kill yourself.

What does it matter how long it takes? No one said anything about farming it. It's just a quest that rewards something that you can get some cash for, like the OP asked. For a new player (who would consider 5k a lot of money) playing through Prophecies properly doing this quest is a nice monetary boost. Just because the value pales in comparison with more advanced money making techniques doesn't mean it should just be ignored.

PS: As I mentioned earlier, I wouldn't have thought it would be easy to find a buyer nowadays, but I saw someone wanting one in LA a couple of days ago (I've only started playing again in the last week or two, so I don't know if that's a good representation of the wider community (probably not) but nonetheless there seem to be people out there that want them).

Bear in mind you can continue to pick up daily bounties in Lion's Arch Keep to continue racking up war supplies. So you can keep getting and selling royal gifts and/or medals/weapons.

As for other quests, daily Zaishen stuff will get you Zaishen Coins -- they're tradeable now and worth a considerable amount.

I suppose farming Nick stuff and selling those gifts could be considered quest-like....

But all this would technically be classed as farming. Lots of farming is profitable. As for standard quests and their rewards, nope not really.

Daily and weekly stuff is the best - Wanted, Zaishen, Nicholas (including overfarming the needed items, for resell).
Also, you can get to WiK quite fast with all characters, just finish EotN (takes ~10h).

Yes, the War in Kryta daily quests. Pick them up from the board just inside the keep. I've got 5 characters qualified for those, only one has actually done BLA. Got a lot of Medals of Honor. Along the way got about 5 greens as drops from Peacekeepers. Feather farming on Jaya Bluffs is fair money. An SoS Ranger is an easy way to farm as well. Somewhere there is a good video on farming in the UW solo with an SoS. Never done that area myself.

http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/List_...eatable_quests is a huge list of repeatable quests. Which really pay off for the time invested I do not know.
