Default Hulking Stone Ele Destroyer

Stoneflesh Aura alone, with 15 Earth magic = no damage. OgBCkMrDrwVkN4hfVaBpIVA is my Template code. My build is Stone Daggers, Aftershock, Crystal Wave (these first three you can sub. for whatever dmg. spells you want), Sliver Armor, Stoneflesh Aura, Armor of Restoration, Elemental Attunement, Earth Attunement, with a Sup Earth Magic rune and a +20% Enchantment weapon (doesn't matter what kind as long as you meet the req. for it to work). About a 7 minute run yields Lockpicks, Warrior and Ele. Tomes and Elite Tomes, Sapphires, Golds, Purples, and tons of Granite Slabs and any Event drops. Oh yeah, the run is from Sardelac Sanitarium, and follow the mountain wall to the North-Northeast. If you walk out and there is a huge Grawl population to the direct NE, rezone.

Not a new or very profitable farm. Can be done with a lot of builds (gladiators defense warrior, vigorous assassin etc.), earth ele is probably one of the slowest options. The material drops were also nerfed a lot.

Depends on what you consider profitable. Slabs are going for 45 each right now. 450 for a stack of ten, and it is not unusual to see stacks from 6-15 drop at a time in HM, not to mention the Scrolls, Tomes, etc. And, as you pointed out, it can be done very easily for just about any build, and in 7 minutes or less for a 1k-2k profit.

This was one of the very first HM farms, though it was done with VwK ritualists back then.

Still it's nice to see a new one posted and the OP has a good point. Any farmable area in HM is worthwhile.

I prefer stone striker + full geomancer set + natural slide
Works faster imo and the defense is enough for Stone elementals.
Maybe I can even take out the stome striker since they deal earth damage...

I've read the OP day after it was posted and decided I'd give those Stone Eles a go. Since then I've farmed them for some 16 hours and made 120k from drops and four stacks of granite. That's not counting 100 lumps of charcoal. They have dropped a grand total of 5 lockpicks which I used to open a whopping 7 chests (with 43% chance to retain btw). Drops ncluded about 30 gold items, a sapphire and a ruby. Mobs have been observed to drop Tall Shields (which I love) but, sadly, only in purple letters.

As far as the build is concerned - I started with the one mentioned by the OP. Some tweaking ensued and I ended up using a somewhat different build which I find most suitable to my playstyle. This is the code: OgVCkMzUuorQnXqDP0X1nXqA. Since SW tends to cause scatter on 4+ mobs I use Ether Nightmare to damage the more cowardly Stone Eles. Degen kills them in most cases.

All in all, it's a fun and easy farm. Especially if you want to obtain your crafting materials for Destroyer weapons or deldrimor steel yourself.

This made me think of an old earth ele tank build for feather farming - both have shockwave and sliver.I`ll say the feather build is for nm but i wonder if the method can be the same.Pull mob and wait for them to get round you - use sliver and use shockave as a finisher.I may dust off my ele and give it a whirl - time she got off vacation and did some work :P
