Default Wintersday farms

Heya,
I've been thinking how to farm a lot of sweets and alcoholo for my titles during this Wintersday. I was farming Crush spirits last year, but I don't know what and how this year.
Could someone post all good farms for these Wintersday + guides?
Thanks in advance

Edit: I'd also appreciate guide to the new PvP challenge and wonderland if possible.

This is the usual reply to event farming - search for raptors, secret lair of the snowman and vaetires and you will get the most common event farms with builds etc - its regardless of the event as usually all events have event drops.

But wintersday isn't an usual event, is it?
I'm sure that a friend of mine has farmed 20 stacks of prezzies + tonics last wintersday from Snowball dominance. But she's retired, so I can't ask her.

Ya... good place to farm xmas is Snowball Dominance. You can dual account it. Meaning farm 2 accounts at once while 1 is afking. Snowball Dominance is a Duo mission. If you have a spare acc with EotN and Guildwars Multilaunch(there is a guide on the forum on how to set it up) you can farm twice as fast ^^ or just take a necro hero with you...

Snowball Dominance is super easy to farm. Get a ranger or nec to EOTN, and do the quests there. The nec runs up, uses holiday blues and ice fort as soon as the enemies turn hostile. He tanks them in holiday blues and they ball into it, causing massive degen. The ranger spams their flurry skill. Takes about 90sec total and you get all the rewards from the quest (10 gifts, 5 frosty tonics, 500g, some exp and vanguard points) the rewards might be wrong, I'm just going off the top of my head from last years farming. I would recommend SD farming, its super easy and fast.

I find Winter Wonderland more enjoyable than Snowball Dominance and both give more or less the same amount of reward I think (aside from the vanguard points). Whenever I get tired of one, I do the other for a while (I get tired of SD fast though ><).

It is more enjoyable, but how long it takes?

No, Wonderland was here last year as well, but noone farmed it because you couln't sneak around all foes and kill directly beacons like Crush.

Wonderland was here last year, but in terms of actually being the "farmed PvE quest", it is the "Operation: Crush Spirits" this year, for lack of a better term.

And Winter Wonderland just requires a different approach in tactics- 2 mins or less times are easy with excellent groups. Got a group with 1:39 (no p-cons), there's a vid of it around somewhere, apparently...

Anyway, most PUGs generally fall around 2:30-3:30 area as of now.

SD gets boring fast. PUGs make thing different and challenging every time you get a new person.

> 10 stacks of each so far. ..zzzzzzzz.......

SD can be done in 1 minute. Typical times are 1 to 3 minutes.

Get 2 accounts(one necro, one ranger, or a hero necro, farm SD, by far the best farm.

As far as I'm aware, all applications of the GW Multilaunch are perfectly legal.

As for SD and multilaunch, the most frustrating thing for me is the added delay of the mission-end 30 second countdown and then the 10 second countdown to change district after you get your reward. While you can split your 2 man party and then reform, it is a bit fiddly. I'm not sure how much better it is doing that rather than just bringing a necro hero.

Anyone have any opinions on that?

You don't need to wait for the 30 seconds countdown at mission-end. You can map out and collect your reward immediately when you have won.

You have to change district though to re-enter the quest, after collecting your reward, but it usually takes only 1 second for me, not 10.

He means that he doesnt do what you (and me) are doing, thus waiting 30 sec, then 10 sec for swapping districts

After a couple of runs, you dont care about it anymore, save one name, ctrl-v it, much easier than finding the other in full districts
also inter-korean=win
(graphics on low helps loading.)
