Default UW Farming 55HP Necromancer/Monk

Hi lads,

I'm just about to finish my Necromancer/Monk character to enter Chantry of Secrets. I created a 55hp build which i recieved from an good friend.

He said he was unsure if the build would still work in UW.

Skillpoints: 16 on Blood, 9 on healing/protection prayers the rest Soulreaping.

Build:
Protective Spirit
Healing Breeze
Spoil Victor
Necrosis
Life Siphon
Melding
Balthazar's Spirit
Essence Bond.

Can anyone tell if this still works? The only information i have found is not recent..

"recent" addings of the Skeleton of Dhuum has made it impossible to farm with an 55/105 hp-farmer.
why?

They have skills that ignore prots, such as prot spirit, soa, ect.

I don't know if you could say it is impossible, but pretty unlikely, in order to correctly farm you would have to avoid the skeleton of dhuum attacks and the dying nightmares which would be difficult to say the least.

It is impossible to avoid all dying nightmares+ the skeletons.

Is there still a way to farm solo in the UW or not? And if there is a way HOW?

nice necroing the thread

Look at gwpvx.com, there are a few working builds, but they are not the easiest builds to master.

Generic spiritmancer, anyone?
Albeit slow, it's really easy and lets you learn how the UW looks, where's what, what are the mobs, sufficiently preparing you to run anything else.

Soloing UW and FoW just died... well it was waaay more popular when the easy builds worked... only farms you see nowdays are in the EOTN section... Tho FoW solo (spiders) still works.

Man.., do I need to make an updated guide for this again?...it's not impossible to solo UW as a 55 N/Mo, not by a long shot.I'm pretty sure SS is a much more effective way to run it, over SV IMO.

I'd agree it's pretty possible, but not newbie-friendly. In order to deal with skeletons of Dhuum it's necessary to avoid every one of their attacks, which can be done by obstructing or dodging (refer to terra roles in UWsc), or simply switching armors to raise your health to deal with skeletons 1v1. Nightmares self destruct, but never take them on with anything else. I'd be inclined to say interrupts give you the biggest problem as N/Mo, so I'm interested to see how you'd deal with that (aside from mass amounts of blocking, which won't work). Me/Mo I would think is a better idea, but either way I think it's a pretty inferior idea to SoS or the vow of silence Plains farmer.

P.S. When in doubt, grab a friend with good heroes, or do plenty of research around Guru on what hero builds are good, and kill stuff the usual way. If your goal is to gain current State-of-Play Underworld experience, this is definitely not the way to go.
