Default A/R Solo Celestial Weapon Farm with video (650 foes/hour)

This is a rather efficient Celestial Weapon farm for the A/R. You can, zoning time included, kill about 650 foes per hour. Many goodies drop out here in addition to celestial weapons: Golds, amber chunks, lockpicks, monk tomes, etc.

Template Code: OwJU4lPbRsSHQ8I6MPH3lCH4OQH

I feel I make better videos than most of the ones out there, so I thought I would share them.

If you watch the video, it's about 1:32 plus zoning time, which would put it somewhere around 1:45-1:50.

In the same way a tank for DoA pulls in City, you will need to pull for this. That is to say, do not aggro them when they are having their "meeting." When they run together in a tight ball, they will not pull much. Aggro while they are meandering around.

--Firstly, this is a farm--not a chest run. Many players do not wish to drop >100k/hour on lockpicks.

--Secondly, the splicing done in the video is due to FRAPS capping output to 4GB per file. I used windows movie maker to put the files adjacent to each other for proper viewing. There is nothing edited out. You will also notice that the only splicing is done halfway through the spike, which would not affect the balling.

--Thirdly, I would wager you a trade window of ecto that this works exactly as I show it here. Care to take me up on that?

Why is everyone posting R/A bars as A/R?

If your looking for celestial stuff and you are a sin your much better off chestrunning the vermin chest in xaquang skyway. In terms of gold celestial drops it's much more efficient averaging 75% or higher gold rate and 1-3 chests per <2 min run. I'm betting your run takes 2-3 min per. I've done it as a r/a and it's not too special but just my opinion. Gl on your farm

Tried this a few times this morning and it hasn't worked yet for me. It takes too long to ball them up and they break aggro very easily unless I walk backwards. The monitors are spaced too well for a good ball in < 1 min 30 sec. Gonna try it a couple different ways before calling this one quits and trying gw_poster's suggestion.

Was definitely in HM, and after doing it a few more times it still takes significantly longer than 1:30 to ball them up. The monitors are always varied distances from each other and from me and as such several manage to avoid the damage from whirling.

Mmh I see, I tried the farm also out a couple times now ,and master it now perfectly. If you see a couple don't want to come around the corner, just walk a little bit to the north (on your map) when pulling, and offcourse always watch your compass for when they stack.

EDIT: Lol at "calling out a noob". Pretty uncalled for. Anyway dude, I validate the build and I believe that it works. I know. I've done it (as r/a but whatever). And "I will bet you a stack of ectos" that you will make your initial 100k/80picks investment by getting decent canthan drops and elite tomes from running the vermin chest in HM (or any other canthan HM c/r) This is not your build so there is no need to so vigorously defend It. I was merely stating that there is another way of obtaining celestial drops (among others). Not saying that the build is bad. Ok?

Farm works fine for me and I got a lot of celestial drops, but when I check prices for celestial swords and bows - it is not worth my time

I'm a bit new to the game here, but I can't get this farm to work at all. I'm sure to the veterans the armor setup is just implied, but I don't know what it should be. Any chance you could help me out here?
