Default 600 smite with shadowform?

I googled for some builds but couldn't actually find any. A quick test revealed that you can easily keep yourself alive with 600+shadowform, and that the smite monk is capable of dealing higher damage through you then the 26 that is cap on SF.

I just imagined that permanent spell immunity in combination with 600 would at least be of some use but I couldn't find any builds for this at all? Anyone actually use this? Or is it inefficient for some reason?

It's easier to just combine 55 with Shadowform. Problem is damage dealing. Wtb smiting line rework.

You haven't found any builds because for the most part, an assassin can do tanking and dungeon running better. The only thing I ever used 600/smite for was CoF HM.

Side note, if you take Spell Breaker instead of SF, you don't restrict your secondary profession.

600 with SF used to be used in DTSC 600/smite is a team. Its possible to use a hero which has also been done before. It actually used to be pretty popular but with nerfs to holy wrath better things have come along. just a rehash of old builds.

The holy wrath nerf really hit 600/smite badly and sadly so far there hasnt been a viable replacement. Its quite sad in a way how a team setup revolved around 2 skills ( thats how i feel ) holy wrath an retribution - more holy wrath tho .And anet managed in a weird and maybe funny way to almost kill off the 600/smite and replace them with say a sf team.
I may be wrong but when a while ago i tested a bonded sin with ( its late and memory is fuzzy ) err the skill that makes melee dmg increase - even tho the bond comes from the monk the sin can only do dmg upto the dmg cap of sf so your 600/smite with sf is going to hit the same problem at a guess

You cant Perma Spell Breaker.......you can SF. I have "tested" 600/SF and you can tank just about anything.

The issue is dmg......you can carry maybe 1 skill like radiation field to help with the lack of Holy Wrath but still no good fix.

But to comment on the quote......SF>SB....you can perma SF without cons.

and that folks shows that despite the general population complaining about how OP sins are even with sf changed- certain elites were made for certain professions.

saw a variant online im gonna go look for to post a reply with (edit) with serpents quickness and spellbreaker, usually by the time they are dead u usually have SQ back up anyway. despite the cooldown.

Well... depends. Under certain conditions you can. In any case, I never said SB is better then SF, merely an alternative if you don't wish to go Mo/A.
