After the first 2 mobs there should only be a single mob of 3. I am constantly running into that same but another mob coming right behind it.

Seems to me like this has been changed a little to prevent farming.
Nope nothing changed like i mention before its a recording of the best possible spawn with best timing. If any of those mob in the recording have a rit spawning sos he wouldn't get those time or mostly likely die trying.

Something else that has changed. When you are running between the mob on left and right at the hill. A ranger will sometimes drop a spirit right in your walk path. The NPC aggros on it and of course the all come running.

From what i recall when i was farming the vanguard rep this way a while ago - i think depending on what bars the foes have ( remember random pick out of 2 skillbars ) can depend on their actions but numerous times i did have a change in spawns - usually its past the first mob and the popup mob behind them , sometimes i had a mob in the open space beyond and several times none there.

The spawns are all the same and always follow the same patrol paths. The enemies in the groups are generated randomly. I think the patrol paths can lead off the compass rather the spawns actually changing iirc.

That actually makes sense , i doubt many of us when doing the quest deviate from the route and see where patrols lead to or are comming from , we just take it for granted the foes are there.
