I used the builds Greenough shows in his original post, i just used ele heroes and a rit hero rather than buy mercs.

make sure you have title displayed, i donno how this will work for lower ranks because i had r10 before i started this but i do know that last time i forgot to display it i failed on the first wave.

if that still doesn't work then i have no idea, i haven't had a fail in the last 3 days.

This is important info as well. I only have rank 4 Deldrimor and was having difficulties.

Thanks TC. Copied your exact team build but I only had 2 free merc slots so I put energy surge on an ele. I am r10 del so I get 15 hp/skill. Everything went fine!!! So far ran 4 runs and all successful in about 19 minutes. So far I almost got 30 dcores and 4-5 cloths. It's amazing.

+1 for the TC.

EDIT: For those reading this, MAKE SURE you equip your title. If you don't you will probably die on wave 1-2.

Okay so it turns out my victory was sort of a fluke. I've done a total of 10 runs and two resulted in victory.

What sort of weapons do you recommend for heroes? Spear/shield, fortitudes on each? Does AR/damage even matter on those?

Also I'm noticing my E/Mo is running out of energy a lot.

I use 4 mesmers and 1 Energy Surge ele (Norgu + Gwen + 2 mercs)... they all got decent weapons and gwen and norgu have good runes (they are in my HM team)... the merc heroes have NO runes at all but just a staff each. It seems like all my heroes never run out of energy (even the ones who dont have any runes).

Maybe equip a decent staff for them. In my last 4 runs never failed.

Trying this but still having some difficulties, I don't have mercs nor good gear yet.

I felt that putting up Symbiosis along with EoE helps a bit, as it instantly boosts health when the E/Mo attempts to save someone.

I have max rank too and my title is displayed, tried again today for 1hr but still no joy got passed the 1st wave once. The destroyer mesmers are what's getting the group. Will change the er prot's last 2 skills to help with that.

Thanks again been looking to group with people for this as its one of my favourite challenge mission but too many people have elitism ego and see a warrior as a bad thing.

I can do it really consistently when I'm not afk and providing constant support with EoE, AAA and BotGD, with Eternal Aura for emergencies. Since I'm providing support anyway, I'm thinking maybe Symbiosis could be good, like Shakkara suggested.

But yeah, if I go afk everyone dies on wave one. Odd.

For the first wave I just cast eoe twice and then can afk the rest until the end, Eoe is a crucial for the first wave though.

I had posted this in another thread but thought i would be better suited in the farming section.

I run all minor runes on hero's and most run shield/spear caster set. make sure the 5 Mes's are set to aggressive, the Rit on guard and the E/Mo on avoid.

Don't forget to display your Deldrimor title.

This build is not 100% flawless but i have gone on runs of 30+ before a fail. there is also 1 rare spawn where a Distroyer of lives will spawn outside of argo range, it is towards the end so just come back at your regular time and get hero's to target it, after that its just another minute to kill 4 bosses.

Run in and go up in front of the baby dragon, flag hero's and stand where i stand in the picture below and wait until 1:30, when 1:30 hits place EoE and then watch some T.V.

Picture of where to place hero's. Make sure there is an ineptitude hero on the left side and the other on the right side.

Most runs will end in the low 19 minute mark with some getting into high 18's. highest score i've ended with is 2139.

If you feel like the hero's are never dying then you can drop flesh on the 2 Me/Rt and make them Me/E with GOLE to speed things up a little.

Just a side note, keep an eye out on the blue shield drops, i've had three 7/15 tac spiked targe drops which were all sold for over 100k each.

What's a 7/15 mean? Are there any other rare items I should look out for? I'm pretty new to the game and I'm sure I've destroyed tons of treasures like this -_-.

I'm pretty sure he means Req 7, Armor 15. I'm sort of new to this game too and to me it seems people use whatever shorthand for gear stats that they can think of and there's no standard shorthand.

7/15 = A 15AL shield with a requirement of 7. They're useful for people (mostly PvP people) who can only afford to put shield attributes up to 7. Despite the observations of the above poster, there is definitely common shorthand. When it comes to shields, you see this a lot, and once you get to know what kind of bonuses can be applied to what items, it makes a lot more sense even if you haven't seen that particular combination before.
