Default R/Me Lacerate spam

If it doesn't have a heal, it dies

Here is a farming build I've been goofing around with. It uses bleeding with Lacerate to cause an unavoidable -5degen to all enemies. As all the damage will be done from spirit range, the enemies will never draw aggro onto you.

R/Me - Player

Lacerate [E]
Edge of Extinction
Hunter's Shot
Epidemic
Arcane Mimicry
Storm Chaser
Optional

A/any - Hero

Shadow Meld [E]

R/Me - Player

Superior Marksmanship
Superior Beastmastery + Beastmastery headpiece
Barbed Longbow of ____

A/any - Hero

Anything is good

This build makes use of the teleport feature of Shadow Meld, in order to apply bleeding to a group, then to instantly break aggro by dismissing your maintained enchantment. You then approach the bleeding group until within spirit range (just smaller than compass range.) From here, it is a case of maintaining EoE whilst spamming Lacerate, causing -5 degen on all enemies without fear of drawing aggro.

Step 1). Use Arcane Mimicry on your hero, and enchant yourself with Shadow Meld. Send your hero far away from the action.
Step 2). Approach the target group and use Hunter's Shot, followed by Epidemic
Step 3). Dismiss Shadow Meld, instantly breaking aggro with the group
Step 4). Re-approach the group, using Storm Chaser to get there before the bleed runs out
Step 5). After reaching spirit range, repeatedly use Lacerate and EoE until the mob is dead

Draw backs

This does not work on enemies that cannot bleed
This does not work on mobs that can heal a substantial amount (it should be able to overcome just Divine Favor healing, Aura of Restoration etc.)

Final word

Again, not a particularly serious build, but surprisingly satisfying. I've always wanted to abuse the fact that Shadow Meld/Aura of Displacement completely break a mobs aggro. I also find the idea of dealing damage outside of aggro range interesting, as I believe it has some potential for some fairly ridiculous gimmicks. Let me know what you think, or if you have any ideas along the lines of teleport/spirit range farming builds.

Thanks for reading,

Tom

Seems like a slllllloooooowwwwww kill.

Use Apply Posion in the optional slot to get more degen and speed up death.

It just seems slow

could probably add pestilence and maybe poison and toxicity to max the degen to -10 and beyond to counteract any natural regen some foes have.

Slow?! It would only take 4 minutes 25 seconds to kill a Bladed Aatxe in HM

In all seriousness, this is just me playing around with the idea of dealing damage outside of enemy aggro range. I think this is a cool thing to achieve, but there are so few nature rituals that deal damage that it makes it pretty hard to pull off in lots of areas.

Any suggestions on a name for this build would be greatly appreciated! The only ones I can think up are horrendously inappropriate...

4 min 25 secs to kil one enemy is "horrendously inappropriate"

I like what Sun Strike said to add.
