Default W/Mo - "Vermin run"

Ok here is my attempt at a guide, I did it for someone else but I though it might be worth posting here.

I checked the Warrior Farming thread and didn't see a W/Mo build for vermin hunting if it has been posted before I apologize.

Profession: W/Mo

Name: Vermin herder

Type: PvE

Category: Tank

Attributes:
Healing: 5
Smiting: 3
Strength: 12 (11+1)
Axe Mastery: 16 (12+3+1)
Superior Axe Mastery, Minor Strength, Superior Absorption and Superior Vigor is the optimal use of runes for this - less will do
Keeping both healing and smiting at 3 is essencial for healing and energy/adrenaline generation that and that's pretty much what the build is based on (if you have problems keeping alive you can raise healing to 8 that will increase your regen by one pip.)

Skills Set:
Triple Chop {E} -> http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Triple_Chop
Cyclone Axe
*Executioner's Strike
*Furious Axe
Dolyak Signet
Vigorous Spirit
Balthazar's Spirit
Mending

* can be replaced with whatever you prefer.

Suggested Gear:

These can be crafted in Wajjun Bazar http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Nago or gotten as collectors items.
You can use something else, but I think the above is the best for the run.

I suggest Knights armor for this but anything will do, you don't need a lot of energy so Gladiators is no advantage.
An Executioners Helmet is recommended but not essencial.

Summary:

Why this works well for a W/- main is that the mobs are all assassins which means they have a lot of fast but low damage attacks.

The mobs shouldn't do any damage to you with their regular attacks.

The mobs will knock you down so keep Dolyak Signet up as much as possible.

All you have to deal with is the degen from bleeding and poison.

Mending takes away some of the degen and Vigorous Spirit combined with the two main multi-attacks keeps you healed.

Energy and adrenaline is no problem either since the mobs attack so fast your energy will always be full (from Balthazar's Spirit).

The actual run

This is just a basic explanation, you will figure out how to gather the groups to make the run faster when you've tried it a few time.

At Senji's Corner exit to the North West (1 on the map)
Apply "Mending" and "Balthazar's Spirit"
Run towards 2 on the map (you go up some stairs - NOT towards the Jade Brotherhood dudes)
You should now see some of the nasty critters (Vermin level 17 I think they are).
Go towards them and when they are close use "Dolyak Signet"
Use "Vigorous Spirit"
And now just attack with "Triple Chop", "Cyclone Axe" and what other attack skills you have chosen to bring.
Remember to re-apply "Dolyak Signet" and "Vigorous Spirit" when they expire
There are a total of 4 groups of 3-4 vermin before you get to the boss area (3 on the map)
At the boss area do the same, you will have around 25 mobs or so there, but really it's no problem

After the boss area there is another 3 groups of 3-4 mobs just do the same here
Now go trough the portal to Wajjun Bazaar (4 on the map) once you've gone through you go back and do the same again - for me that usually means I get my inventory filled up.

Drops:

The drops are poor, mostly a ton of usless scepters and daggers, also since this is not a high end area they tend to have bad stats, the best you can hope for is some salvagable mods from gold/purples you might get.

Shreaders Talons drops once in a while http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Shreader%27s_Talons but they are not really worth anything.

The good thing is that pretty much every mob drops something, be it money a hide or an item - in all it makes it well worth the effort

If you want you can buy keys to open the chests there there will usually be between 1 to 4 chest spawns along the run, and as I understand it it's one of the few places celestial items can be found - again this isn't a high end area so the chest might give you stuff that is not max damage, and the celestial skins aren't that popular as far as I know - but still some decent stuff can be found. Personally I open every chest there is I've included what I've found the last couple of days.

Notes & Concerns:

None really, except you don't wanna go towards the Jde Brotherhood mobs, they will own you pretty bad.

Credit: Myself + stuff I picked up on this forum (the build is kinda a generic Axe build).

Meh... saw pretty much the same guide just named "Shreader Sharptongue and friends" - sorry for reposting.

A mod can delete if needed.

There is more than just one thread at this, i think four or five at total. None the less you are the first near the build i use for the vermins.

I'd drop Smiting as it will only affect the adrenalin gain from Balthazar's and it is used mainly for mana. Adrenalin u gain more than enough from just cyclone and triple chop. I use 10 Heal, 11 Str (+1), 10 Axe (+3+1). I also prefer Live Vicariously and Healing Breeze. Breeze nullifies degen from poison and bleeding and Live Vicariously provides more than enough healing for everything else.

Anyway nice guide ^^

I kinda agree, I already changed the build for myself in the same way and now use

Attributes:
Healing: 3
Strength: 13 (12+1)
Axe Mastery: 16 (12+3+1)

3 healing is enough for 2 pips of regen and it works fine for me, but then again I've done it a few times - for a start the original build is probably easier to use.

Default My Build

Cyclone Axe
Bonetti's
Glad. Defen
Riposite
Balanced stance
Vig. Spirit
Live Vicar.
Mending

Weapon
Any Axe will do fine
I use Malinon, but i think any shield w/ +30hp is fine
And a sword

Weapon 1: Axe + Shield
Weapon 2: Sword + Shield

Heal 8
Axe 10
Tat. 16 (12+1+3)
The rest in Str

Cast Mending, then cast Live Vicar. when u see the fist group, use Bal. Stance, arrgo as many as u can, cast Vig Spirit b4 Bal Stance end, and use Cyclone. Bonitti's, Glad. Def. whenever it's rdy. Repeat Bal. Stance, Vig. Spirit, Cyclone, Bonitti's, Glad. Defen..... I can kill all vermins in about 10 mins. (usually use Glad Defen twice u can kill the vermins, and Riposit (change to sword) is just for the boss, when he's alone (means that u had killed everything else)

Interesting, Gladiator's Defense does make some sense for this since the mobs attack so fast.

I have a prophecies warrior as well, I might try this I really can't be bothered to do all desert missions with my Canthan Warrior to get Gladiator's Defense, LOL.

You could add ''On your kness!'' and maybe Bane Signet to recharge Glad quickly
