Default The Best Warrior Build that no one has thought of before....

Ok, well most likely this has been thought up before and this build not be that great xD. Anyways, on with the build

Swordsmanship- 12+1+1 (Minor Rune, Swords Helm)
Strength 12 (or 11) +3 (Superior Rune)
Rest in Tactics

Zealous Sword is best for this and Glads Armor is Recommended

1. Warrior's Endurance (The very essence of this build)
2. Power Attack (Like, OMG!!!)
3. Jaizenzhu Strike
4. Pure Strike
5. Griffon'S Sweep (or Leviathans Sweep)
6. Watch yourself
7. Healing Signet
8. Any skill you want as long as its not a stance

Basically, spam power attack/other attacks until energy is around 20, throw on Warrior's Endurance, and keep spamming your attacks without really worrying about energy =) Use HS to heal obviously, and throw WY on occasionally...

any tips? feedback? comments? make sure to READ THE FIRST SENTENCE BEFORE YOU POST/FLAME

pure strike and griffon sweep are the only attacks i see that dont give much. if ur running Warriors End. y du u use jaizenzhu? u can easily use the dslash+sun/moon build to do the same thing because Warriors End. has a 30 sec recharge. i dunno if id be using this build but gl with it

Power Attack is zomg! Consider taking Wild Blow since you're not too concerned about adrenalin. While you have skills that ignore/punish evasion stances, the primary source of your damage is going to be the 4s recharge Power Attack, and that doesn't go through stances. I also want an interrupt in there somewhere.

I would take something like this:

Distracting Blow
Warrior's Endurance (E)
Power Attack
Wild Blow
Thrill of Victory
Griffon's Sweep
Healing Signet
Res Signet

edit: I thought about it some more, and realized that pure strike might be redundant with Wild Blow on the bar. Also, since Wild Blow guarantees critical hit, you may want to switch to axes to take advantage of the higher damage ceiling. Other skills to consider are Thrill of Victory, Bull's Strike, and Sprint.

ummm, LOL, I use that build! Even Before this Thread

I use a sword for more energy (faster attacks)
I'm not sureif you are using a Hammer or Sword

Mending
Watchful Spirit
2 attack skills
{E}Warriors Endurance
1 Adrinaline skills
1 Defenive skill
Rez

I have a constant +5 health regen and alot of attack skills and easy energy, the only problem is that its not to great, its not the best, Great minds think a like though!

I've notice a problem with YOUR build Griffons Strike is a Hammer Attack and Jaizenzhu Strike, Pure Strike is a Sword Attack. You can do a lot of Damage, but you need a monk around to heal you, Healing Sig +5-7 Tactics IS NOT HELPFUL, Good PvE build, Lacking PvP, I use mine in PvP and PvE, its well balenced.

i used WE and use Axe and Str based attack and Wild Blow is very important, it does good damage and spammable as well as able to cancel some nasty stance so you can hit the target with other skill. I tend to choose skill that is unblockable or cannot be evade, or some skill that have some effect when it is evaded or blocked.

I bring a defensive stance and healing sig, maybe i should bring Watch yourself as well.

No you didn't. You use Mo skills (ie. Mending) intermixed with some sword skills and Warrior's Endurance. Not the same build. Similar but not the same.

Read the post again: it's sweep.

Okay, the OPs build:

I like the basic template, I've ran something very simlar to this in PvE. I eventually switched it up and went with axes (like Rera mentioned) to take advantage of dealing more damage and having a pretty consistant interrupt in Disrupting Chop. Running this build with axes, you can totally change it up and run Battle Rage and work those high adrenaline-cost skills. Not the "best" build but a decent one.

" Swordsmanship- 12+1+1 (Minor Rune, Swords Helm)
Strength 12 (or 11) +3 (Superior Rune)
Rest in Tactics "

First off your head gear is in the wrong place, it saves 5hp =P
So 14 sm // 15str // 3tactics

So you gave up either:
An utility elite (say Emphatic/Charge/Expel etc)
A damage elite (say Eviserate([email protected] and DEEP WOUND!)/Quivering ([email protected], 4adren))
Or a KD elite (Dev/BB/Bull's Charge)

Instead opted for something that is not going to increase your attack power AND take up a stance.
So you can use attack skills which give you +30s.

Since Warriors Endurance is a stance, you cannot use speed buffs OR IAS.
No deep wound, No interupts, No KDs.

NB: Most weapon specific attack skills are +34ish at 12 weapon mastery and +42ish at 16WM, your 15 str gives you a load of +30 skills. Now in which way is your build superior?
Even the use of Flourish is probably better, since you can combine that with speed boosts and IAS, and you get an energy surplus.

The concept behind is build is to be an energy warrior. The skills u mentioned do more damage. Some of them do anyway. But there is an average of about 6 seconds to charge them up, even with IAS skills. With energy skills, you can spam them each attack. Or, at least, you can get 3 of them out at the beginning.

I myself think that mixing addrenaline + energy attacks is the way to go. But if I was going to go energy attacks, I would go tactics and use these.

Thrill of Victory
Drunken Blow
Deadly Riposte
Hamsting
Wild blow
Dash
Healing Signet
Shove

All these are ynergy attacks that give more utility byspreading conditions and nullifying stances. And do a lot of damage. Maybe sub bonneti's defence for Hamstring because Hamstring is 10e and Bonneti's defence can help regen energy. (above is for arenas where res sig not neccessary)

I'm beginning to prefer Flourish also, simply because of the added recharge - unfortunately, Flourish is also interruptible.

The primary advantage of running an energy build is the ability to spam Wild Blow, which guarantees critical hits and cancels defensive stances. Adrenalin builds can't use this skill at its maximum effectiveness because of the 'lose all adren' clause. Other energy attacks like Power Attack and Thrill of Victory just give you additional damage between Wild Blows.

If you run warrior's endurance for PvP, you need a snare as you cannot have a speed boost, otherwise you'll be getting more of your energy regain from running around not doing anything!

For PvE, it's quite nice with cyclone axe, Dolyaks and other healing spells.

I would prefer using a battle rage build more than a warrior's endurance. Something along the lines of this if you plan on going pure offense. I left 2 slots open depending on which secondary skills you'd rather put in. battle rage recharges the adren skills fast enough so you do not need all offensive skills equipped

Sword:
battle rage
sever artery
gash
galrath slash
silverwing slash
rez

Axe:
battle rage
dismember
axe twist
executioner's strike
furious axe
rez

Well then.

Wild Blow is much less of an issue in PvE because there aren't any distortion spammers or stance-chainers. It still does good damage, but I wouldn't build around it by any means. Thrill of Victory is also a bad choice, because monsters tend to have more health than you in PvE.

13 str
12 swords
rest to tactics I guess...

For my Sword spamming chain, I'd consider...

Wild Blow
Seeking Blade
Pure Strike
Distracting Blow

Those 4 would pretty much amount to a practically unblockable barrage of energy based attacks. You've got the best e. based interrupt [20s. recharge means Savage Slash = the suk], a stance kill auto crit, and don't worry about pure strike, Wild Blow sets up so you can't be blocked in any case.

I wouldn't use any str. based attacks. Weapon based attacks are the rage. Oh wait, maybe replacing Pure Strike with Hamstring would be a better deal, you can't run with Warrior's Endurance out but you CAN try to snare them...

Actually, there are lots of stanced mobs in Canthan, almost all of the Ranger, Warrior and assasin mob will bring evade stance or evade skill.

I didn't say monsters don't use evasion/block stances - trust me, I'm well aware that they do. However, they don't spam these stances, the way you can with Distortion, or by bringing multiple ranger/warrior stances and using Oath Shot. Therefore, there isn't much advantage to being able to spam Wild Blow, because once you've taken down a monster's stance once, it's likely that you'll kill them before they use it again. That being the case, you could easily take Wild Blow on a normal warrior bar without too much issue. Or, you can switch targets.
