I like to go virulence when swording. Off the top of my head (so things are probably wrong and I change it up once in awhile, so tweak as needed)
Flail
Sever Artery
Gash
Virulence (E)
Final Thrust
Optional ("Watch Yourself!" // Standing Slash// Other)
Heal Signet / Lions Comfort
(sunspear)Rez Signet

Swords - 16 (Sup Rune + Hat)
Death Magic - 10 (I believe)
Strength - 10 (I think, only minor rune)
Tactics - 10 (I think, only minor rune, unsure about tacts and str)

Natural Temper

The focus here is to build adrenaline so fast that Dragonslash doesn't matter. There are no defensive skills here, so you can spec 16 sword and 13 strength. Also with this build, you can SPIKE. Repeatedly, might I add. You can take out Final Thrust for another adrenal skill, but I really love Final Thrust.

Some things I have to say about the other builds posted -

*Barbarous Slice is crap. No stance? Unusable skill. You should always be in a stance, even if it isn't defensive.
*No IAS? Again, your build is simply not optimal if you decide to exclude one.

Other than that.. good luck with your warrior.

i wouldnt use virulence as a warrior because your in melle, so youll disease your target and yourself. actually in gvg, i saw a team with 2 w/n using virulence and they had a necro that kept tainted flesh up on everyone at all times....lets just say our team lost =P

Plague touch...I have it in my build, but forgot to post it...

It brings down enemies down real fast. Don't diss it untill you've tried it.

i have tried it, the only thing with disease is, if your touching your target and youll keep getting diseased after plague touch, unless your using virulence to finish off your target.

This is the build i use for PvE

W/N

Warriors Endurance (Elite)
Beserkers Stance/Tigers Stance
Power Attack
Insert Random Utility Or Attack Skill Here (stance removal, interupt etc)
Insert Random Defensive Shout/Skill here (not a stance)
Heal Sig or whatever heal you like
Plague Touch
Rez

Attribs: str needs to be 12 min, rest as you like although i suggest high swords attrib ;-)

Point behind build is at 12 str warriors endurance lasts 20 seconds with a 30 regen, the other stance makes up for the other 10 seconds. so your always stanced and warriors endurance gives so much energy power attack is spammable non stop...a steady stream of non stop dmg.nice not relying on adren

builds leaves space for other skills as you see fit/situation requires

i believe warriors needs self cond removal hence plague touch, i guess w/mo would work too.

nothing ground breaking, and i didnt come up with it. personally i love this setup

Use it when fighting non-humans. /doh

That said, I don't like it. Better elites out there.

Here's a PvE build i've been having fun with recently. Completed NF with this build with the exception of gate of madness where i went with a stance tank for shiro.

W/D

Quivering Blade [E]
Standing Slash
Silverwing Slash (or Galrath)
"Watch Yourself"
Conviction
Vital Boon
Signet of Pious Light
Rez Sig/Sunspear Rez Sig

Attributes:
Swordsmanship (13)
Tactics (11)
Earth Prayers (10)

Silverwing Slash can be changed for a utility, such as Wild Blow for use against those pesky rangers in NF, or Heart of Holy Flame against undead, etc... The other adrenal skills have relatively low adrenaline costs so losing all adrenaline won't shut down your attacks for long if you use WB.

Cast Vital Boon, then Conviction, then dive in Keep VB, Conviction and "Watch Yourself" up as much as possible (i don't usually have any prob maintaining near 100%). Strip Vital Boon with Sig of Pious Light for a strong heal and re-apply Vital Boon straight away ready to strip again when needed.

This build relies on high armour rather than evasion so it's usefull against ele's as well as all non-armour ignoring dmg.

It's quite helpful, seeing Dragon Slash is very powerful. I doubt he has the time to post a full build everytime someone posts a Sword build.

These kinds of threads are why I have no confidence in these forums.

Dragon Slash has been discussed at length before. If we have to ****ing explain it every single ****ing time some new player comes up with a ****ing retarded build, people would just not bother. Bring Dragon Slash. Stop asking questions. Please.
