Well if you use EC then hit Flail then you're slowed until Flail ends. Then again I've been only playing HM lately and that is a problem since the AI doesn't enjoying fighting someone that can take some damage

Well, I base my build off of what my heroes are running as well. With my warrior, I usually have a melee-buff Master of Whispers, Razah with Splinter Weapon, and either Morgahn (motivation w/ axe: dismember+agonizing chop) or Norgu (Strength of Honor, Succor, and signets).

MoW brings Infuriating Heat for his elite. I can spam my 3 attack skill in rapid succession, even moreso with flail on me. Razah spams splinter weapon on me. I disable/micro Norgu's Strength of Honor on myself.

My build:

Warrior/Necromancer

16 Sword
10 Strength
9 Curses

Dragon Slash
Whirlwind Attack
Sun and Moon Slash
Enraging Charge
Flail
Endure Pain
Mark of Pain
Res Signet

I'll just say this: good aggroing+Strength of Honor+Splinter Weapon+Whirlwind Attack+Order of Pain+Mark of Pain=gg

How about bringing a snare attack skill instead of Rush/EC/Sprint?

Though I hear in Hard Mode enemies will run like pansies when they're about to die but hey, nothing like a Crippling Axe of Fortitude + Flail + Axe Rake to say 'quck off and stay put while you die!' to a poor target...

You'll do more damage, stop your foe, and well... Not have to run and abandon your post. [which should be body blocking the front of your party...]
