My basic non all out attack warrior skillbar is this:

[skill]Plague Touch[/skill][skill]"Victory Is Mine!"[/skill][skill]Dismember[/skill][skill]Axe Rake[/skill][skill]Axe Twist[/skill][skill]Executioner's Strike[/skill][skill]Bonetti's Defense[/skill][skill]Healing Signet[/skill]

I find it to be a strong and capable warrior that, sacrifices maximum possible upper-end damage for versatility, and Warrior worthy endurance.

Specific anti-warrior builds are likely to be the only individual foe to give this build any real problems. The great majority of "solo" builds, i.e Random Arenas or Alliance Battles, Fort Aspenwood etc. can be dispatched with timing, patience and determination.

For a combination of powerful offense and equally strong defence, I know few better builds than this.

Dropping your foe by 20%+ in one strike>Adrenaline spamming when the 20%+ in one strike occurs during adrenaline spamming.
I use a Rush/Flail/Sever/Gash/Sun and Moon/DragonSlash/ProtStrike build. The adrenaline gain is actually really fast, especially going from DSlash -> Sun and Moon -> Prot strike (fully charged dslash) and then choosing on whether i want to sever/gash or just dslash again.

Also, due to Rush I can rush from group to group without worrying about losing the adrenaline I've accumulated.

I use variations to the axe build mentioned (eviscerate fgj/enraging)
For hammers I like to use:

Enraging/Flail/Dev Hammer/Crushing/Heavy/Mighty/FGJ/You Move like a Dwarf!

It's pretty much 12+ seconds of constantly KD. This is particularly important when facing a boss.

Combo is thusly -> enraging early (to force recharge faster) -> shout range YMLAD! (KD#1) -> before you hit them, FGJ! -> As they get up, Dev hammer (KD#2) -> Crushing/Flail simultaneously -> Mighty -> Heavy (KD#3) -> YMLAD! (KD#4) -> normal whacking.

You end up with a 1 second gap after the fourth KD before you get your fifth KD with Dev hammer, and then your sixth KD with Heavy Blow repeated. At this point you're probably out of energy to use YMLAD! anyways.

For that particular build you need radiant armor and a zealous hammer. Energy usage is pretty brutal.

My warrior uses the following build, and has 480 HP (Which is the same as the base hP for level 20), and 39 energy (If I remember correctly)

It's a good build so long as you have a monk, due to lack of decent self healing. This works well in protecting casters by crippling melee fighters that run to the back to attack monks and other casters with weak armour.
Also serves well for interupting those annoying skills you'll come across now and then if timed right, and then the 2 damaging only skills that can't be blocked (I'm aware those are the same skill, but I was limited on low cost energy sword attacks, lol.)

So after you've spammed those 4 attacks, you press what I like to call "Do it all over again" button, which recharges the skills and fills my energy bar to the top again. The 3 last skills are optional to a certain point. endure pain is good for making up HP due to the low normal amount my warrior has, boosting it to 780 instead of 480. Lions comfort can be quite good if the healers are having trouble keeping up with everyone, and spirnt to get around faster, or move to targets faster if you want.

with the rank 3 in tactics I get 95HP from Lions comfort, which isn't too bad, but wont support me. self healing could be better with "For great justice"

At the poster above... I cant figure out why you would not use a sup sword, and why you would use a major strength rune...

EDIT for a few more questions...

I also notice that you dont have an IAS either. I would replace endure pain with flail, and sprint with enraged charge.

Someone else that I have noticed in general with some of the builds posted here is a rez.

As I said, the last three are optional. And I'm not ofen in a situation where my team wipes out, lol. If that happens I'll be one of the first to go most likely, plus my heros have their rezzes. XD

As for the runes, The sword is only a +1 from the helm, and I have a +3 strength on it. The other spaces I wanted for energy, being an energy build and all, lol.

I'll deffinatly look into the attack speed and such though, I'm still fiddling about with it.

When I play my warrior, it's not really to do tons of damage. I simply protect the casters while they do their thing and normall have 1-2 nukers in my group.

I dislike adrenaline skills because they're boring for me. By the time they charge up my target is dead. My build isn't horrible, simply because I don't jump in line and use what everyone else is using. It's different and I enjoy the build, it works just fine.

Your build is engineered to spam attack skills. However, with no IAS and subpar attack skills (and on a minor note, Flourish takes 1s to cast), you cannot deal as much damage as you could with, say, a Dragon Slash sword war.

You say you "protect the casters", but I don't really see many linebacking elements in there. In any case, you'd also be better off protecting the casters with an optimized build.

I wouldnt use his build but I agree with Malchior, changing things up once in a while is great fun PvE and Heros will never complain about "Noob" builds.
I run a scythe warrior quite a lot and find it very fun, I have a dervish but got bored with it and havent got very far, the build I use is:

[skill]Warrior's Endurance[/skill][skill]Power Attack[/skill][skill]Victorious Sweep[/skill][skill]Counterattack[/skill][Whirlwind Attack][Aura of Holy Might][skill]Lion's Comfort[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]

You can swap out aura of holy might for anything really but the extra damage is nice. No energy problems, can wail of 3 foes at once, lots of self heal, nice damage. And at 16 strength Power attack hits for +42, nice. I havent got it yet, but body blow could be a nice skill to vent some adrenaline, another + 42.
Well I like it.

To keep it general, a good all-round warrior build should have:
An interrupt /or knockdown skill
A snare / run skill
An attack speed booster
A self heal
Damage skills, keeping a close eye on the needed energy and adrenalin making a good mix

Don't forget the deep wound, every melee should have one ImO.

Deep wounds are not as needed in PvE as PvP and with most foes going down in seconds anyway, the only time I would NEED one would be to kill an extra tough boss.

Not definitely not it, its a good build. But I dont think there is a best build for warriors, they can do so many things. They can spike, do huge DPS, AoE ( which his build is a good example of.

Extra tough bosses tend to have massive amounts of HP. Deep wound caps at 100hp, so sometimes it only really subtracts about 5-10% of their total health. Certainly not useless, but way less effective than on a 500hp player.

WTh do ppl for get your the tank..
In PVE i must say a def build works best even with a crap pug running "Watch yourself" and "Sheilds Up!" makes a HUG difference with carful timeing you can keep both up durring combat make your entire group ~+45 armor and 50% chance to block.. and that only takes TWO SKILL SLOTS!

heres what i run when pug or hero/henchy
Pressure / Dmg
Flurry / Flail (Adren builder)
Sever artery / Standing Slash
Gash / Galrath Slash
Quizzering Blade(E) / Dragon Slash
Healing Sig / Lions Comfort
Warch Yourself! -------------------
Sheilds Up! -------------------

Good Dmg and support No deep wound but its good party build when running a short group.
