He's level 12 and is Rt/A. I was wondering what the best skills of a Ritualist are.
Communing? Restoration?

none are "the best" its how you use them and in what situation that determins thier effectiveness

personally i like the channeling line, spirit rift- awsome skill

depends what you want to do.

channelling: high offence. A channelling ritualist can out damage many elementalists.

Restoration: healing, and lots of it. A couple of spirits, but nothing earth shaking (although preservation has its uses)

Communing: you'll want to mix this attribute into anything you do, it is half protection half offence, a fantastic attribute for anyone who isn't sure that they dont want it.

Spawning power: if you have a spirit on your skillbar, invest highly into this attribute - it increases the health of your spirits.

Generally, if you wish to be a heal/prot rit, go restoration/communing/spawning

healer rit: restoration/healing(monk)/spawning

Prot rit: communing/spawning

Damage rit: channelling/spawning/communing

The safest bet for early rits is to go rest/com/spawn with a share of offensive spirits like pain and bloodsong, have union and a couple of self heals. Standard allround build which will get you through the first island no sweat.
