yeah it can farm uw but needs a FAMINE RANGER or MESMER. i remember some threads going out on Famine farming the UW some weeks ago, most of em use Monk tankers but taking a 600/55HP RIT instead is doable and would speed up killing the Aatxes. Imagine VwK+Vengeful Weapons+Famine+SV/AV dealing huge and fast damage to those smites -_-.. it was a looong time ago when i did the run unfortunately i dont have a screenie of them..

^ Quickening Zephyr, Famine, SV, AV

the 605 HP Rit - PS, Spirit Bond, VwK, VF, Balth Spirit, Essence Bond, Vital Blessing, Soothing Memories

This build is cool man thanks. This may be a stupid question but is the war/x spider farm route doable with this rit build? You said you can take out driftwood and dryders but what about all those dam spiders? I like the war build but it takes too long id imagine this would be much quicker and you dont have to run as much. Regardless thanks for this build it gives me a solid reason to play with my rit.

haven't had the time to try the spider cave yet but i doubt it will be much easier than the w/x build.. you have to interrupt their healing spring... and you can't do that when you're holding VwK they also tend to group together so if you do manage to interrupt one, there will be 2 or 4 more spiders using their healing spring -_-

from my experience the spiders dont use their healing spring if you stand directly next to them. So maybe its possible if you get real cozy with one of the groups lure them so they all stand together then 'charge' in and survive a while untill their springs wear off. Then its time to kill. Thats how I would do it, I'll try some time.

I know this is an old thread, but I was busy making a rit to make this exact farm but with the AI update I was wondering whether this farm still works. Can anyone fill me in?

I use a Rt/Me build down there and it still works just fine......the only 2 issues I ever have, 1 old, and 1 new, is: The choke point on the initial run....I have trouble getting by the icebreakers and the new problem: When using a long bow to pull the ele's, they are now casting chain lightning and a few other spells......so to solve this....just take 2 steps back and they stop. And yes.....I was well outta their argo zone when pulling with a longbow.
Ooops...thought of a third problem.....rock burrow wurms seem to stop attacking the minute you use VWK.....nice way to regen some energy. I have resorted to bringing Mantra of resolve and I echo Vengeful weapon for the wurms.
Hope this helps....gl

WOW, gave this build (Rt/R) a try today, and it's pure ownage!

first time i managed to clear the whole forest (allways had bad luck with the R/me build) in the 1st run with this build..

the only problem i had is that the worms didn't attack "proper".. but as long as you time your vwk well that shouldn't be a problem.. it just takes a bit longer..
