My rit has been my main toon since I started playing with her. As far as what you can do with a rit. You can solo some hard mode stuff. You can H/H most HM areas with ease. You can use them in different roles like everyone has mentioned. I to me I have the most fun with my Rit. I do use other classes from time to time but I always find my way back to my rit.

I love my Rit. I started playing her again about a week before the update, and now I just have so much fun with spirit spam. It's entertaining and can trounce just about everything - I was originally going to force myself to cap VwK to farm with, but I've found that I have more fun farming with a wall of spirits and Spiritleech Aura.

Like Death Nova, Heroes can maintain Dwayna's Sorrow on the minions better anyway.

(I normally have it stapled to the bar of my MM hero - Necro primary. I've tried the Rit minion-bomber with all the 'when a creature is created' enchantments, but the hero AI isn't good at keeping the enchantments going without being micromanaged.)

Ive had about 6 rit chars. would start one, get to like lvl 4, get irritated/bored and delete it. a while later would start another, get bored/irritated and delete it. then i started the rit i currently have, hit the lvl 5 mark, stuck with it, and now shes my main char. I cant actually remember when last i played with any
of my other chars, except the occasional vaettir farming with my E/me.
For me, the Rit class is the best and most fun in the whole game.

Rit spammer
SS necro
arkfenway heroes

and the world is yours for the taking.

You can do ALOT with a Rt main. For example:

UWSC: If you can join as vale support, Rt/N works as good as N/Rt
FoW Manly: As EoE
Urgoz: EoE/Splinter
VSF: FS Rit
CoF: 600Rt/Smite
Solo alot of places: The 330hp Rt/Mo build works in ALOT of places.
About any random PvE place: As a filler since you can heal, dmg or support very well.

I have played my ritualist 22% of the time across all of my characters over 3 years. I just love this buff and I am having lots of fun adding in Xandra and Razah as support channeling and communing heroes, while she runs a channeling spirits, vanguard assassin and djinn summoner build. I use Livia as a ritualist restorer. Until they nerf the ritualist because of the "cry babies" out there, I am having an exceeding amount of fun.

Ritualists are pretty damn good and are so underestimated, a bit like Assassins used to be.

It's taken the last buff to Ritualist skills to get people playing them and actually realize just how good they can be.

What the last ritualist change did was look at the specifics of PvE (harder hitting foes, the speed at which we move around, ...) and built on that. That's why I love it.
Spirit spam is now actually one of those rare caster offensive options that I feel is actually decent enough to be able to compete with your everyday AP build. It's most definitely not as obscenely overpowered, but it will get the job done more the nicely pretty much everywhere in the game.
It gave the class some much needed variety.

It most certainly gave it a kick in the right direction, but the real question is was it too little too late?

Rits are almost everywhere now. Sometimes I wonder if people started building them recently or just take them out of mule status.

I have been playing with my rit for awhile and she has completed all campaigns. But I have been playing with her much more ever since the last rit update.

My Rit was my mule! Now I wish I would have paid more attention when I first made it. :-0

I really love playing the spiritspam now and its my primary in pve. One thing I like is that you can change the 2nd profession and get almost an entirely new and viable build.

I like AB and still trying to find a good build for there. We all know spirits aren't good. I've tried the healing Rt, Rt/N, Rt/Me, and soon a Rt/A. I can't seem to find something fun but also something I don't spend most of the time facedown. :-)

I seem to be hard mode solo farming more and more and more with her. Honestly the sprit poop has increased some potential. IMO more fun then the perma so far at least there is some aggro skill used when taking on some groups
