Default Spirit Ritualist PVP Build

Hello, i am planning on making a ritualist for PvE/PvP, and i have seen that Rits can be really good for PvE. However, i would like to know, if there is a good SoS or Spirit Summoner Build for PvP. I have found none in PvX. Thanks in advance

No. Spirits die easily and take ten days to place. Smart people will kill you while you're laying them.

This.

In addition, people are not NPCs and will (on the most part) either kill the spirit, interrupt the spirit skill or simply move away (depending on game type or map).
Not only that, spirits have a 3-5 second cast time in pvp, compared to the sub 1-second cast time in pve.
Finally - Signet of Spirits doesn't summon spirits in pvp and enchantments are easy to rip too, making Ritual Lord a ridiculous option with all the shattering assault going around. AFAIK, other than specific spirits like Wanderlust, there are no other decent elites that revolve around using spirits, especially multiple spirits which is the whole point of a Spirit Spammer pvp build.

lol .. never use spirits in PvP but PvE is another matter mainly cuz of the casting time and yea as some-one said the fact that people can kill them whilst you lay them .. they own in PvE or at least i think so :P

They work OK in RA assuming your team doesn't run ahead of them like they usually do. The common mind blasters own spirits so fast now with their burning vulnerability though. Anyway if you want to try, I'd go with wanderlust, bloodsong, shadowsong, pain, agony?, siphon spirit, res sig, optional. It is going to be alot slower/more vulnerable than the PvE variant, but this kind of build can put out plenty of pressure if unchecked, which it all too often is in RA.

The other place I've seen spirits work OK is escorting turtles/shrines in JQ/FA. You don't move too fast while circling said NPCs, and you often have the freedom to set up spirits unmolested.

[[Signet of Spirits (PvP)] works differently in PvP than it does in PvE. In PvP, the most commonly used spirits are [[Life], [[Recuperation], and maybe [[Destruction].

Spirit spam is bad in PvP,but hybrids may be good.

Pain - Very weak, but it lasts for 2 minutes = Pressure
Shadowsong - As always, disable melee characters.
Spirit light / MBaS - Heal and condition removal
Any Elite, being - Spirit light weapon,Xinrae's weapon or wanderlust for some nice KDs
BwM or PwK - IMO PwK isn't THAT good in 4v4,but still works...While BwM adds more blind to the team, which means less damage taken.

+ Optionals

Monks usually hate Rts and ragequit very often, but if they see you have damage and can support them (with WoW,WoS,etc...),they will love u.

SoS in PvP is an inferior OoS.

Casting multiple spirits in PvP is practically begging any toon that can do more than wanding to smash your face into the ground.

Spirit builds are alright in RA because the majority of people there have no sense of environment and practically walk into a group of spirits. However rits can be put to better use in PvP.

Your best bet would to be some kind of support in PvP - this is where the rit is designed to excel. If you want to use a spirit, Life and Bloodsong are probably the best due to their usefulness, speed, cost, and att line.

If you still want to go devoted spirit spammer, I suggest using Wanderlust, Shadowsong, Pain, and either go restoration or channeling for spirits in that area.
