Default Ritualist for Survivor Title

Hi guys, so i am thinking of trying for the Survivor title, and i have obviously looked at all of the great guides for that as well as all the information out there for Ritualists.

My problem is that I only have one other character that i have taken through Prophecies, Factions and part way through Nightfall. That character is a Warrior so i am used to just charging in, and have my heros support me. I tend to play most of the time with heros and henchies.

I just wondered if anyone had any specific tips for me to get to level 10 and Kaineng City using the Ritualist. Are they really squishy? Any idea of tactics i can use when fighting using HH's? Is there a guide about for that?

Any help much appreciated.

Once you get Signet of Spirits, it's very easy to reach Legendary Survivor as a Ritualist.
Basically you just place spirits, pull with a longbow and hide safely behind your spirits. Especially if you place your spirits tactically at walls and corners so they body block foes from reaching you.

This is what I did:
Level 1-6.. repeat your beginner Wild Minion's quest, killing minion over and over until you are level 6. Abort and retake quest each time. This gives you a nice boost in levels until you reach Seitung. From here you can safely kill level 15 yetis with spirits until you reach level 15 yourself. If you have saved all quest rewards until then, it's now time to cash in which can take you up to level 20. Buy the Kurzick/Luxon skill Summon Spirits before you do Zen Daijun, it helps a lot here.

Do the above using cheap 100g scrolls, the scrolls you getwith your Monastery credits.

Killing wurms outside Boreal station from level 10-20 will safely take you to Legendary Survivor. Using an 800g scroll, you will gain approx 945xp/kill, and including the run you kill 10 wurms in approx. 3 minutes. That's average 189k xp per hour, or around 6 hours of playtime to gain rank 3 risk free. It's a bit boring way to do it, but it's the most safe. Even if you lose connection, chance is extremely high you didn't lose your survivor title.
The money spent on scrolls is easily regained, I often had lockpicks, gold items and other things from the wurms to make up for the scrolls.

it's not necissary to start from scratch, it's easier to get level 20 first and then go for the title, not saying its bad to start from level 1, but it might save some time..

I wondered what you meant by that last post ele kid, now i have realised that you can start Survivor from your last death, rather than from character creation.

DOH!

Waste of money due to Legendary Survivor now being obtainable even after dying. Considering every endgame group wants a rit, just go play FoWSC/UWSC/DoA. The OP is a Rit, not a Ranger...

Hell you could farm with SoS. People do all the time, in UW and for Nick's (http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Nicholas_the_Traveler) gift items.

Besides, it's hard to die as a rit because of Spirits. If you're really paranoid, run Shelter and Spirit Transfer as a Panic button.

Edit: also in 2 weeks you can get exp from http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Every_Bit_Helps
