Well, excuse me first, since english is not my native language.

Second, excuse this stupid thread, but I have not found anything similar.

I want to do a "I am the best rit" thread. Things, that rits did and which are hard to achieve. So maybe other rits can post other challenging things, that can be tried, since the game gets boring with time.

What I did and I want to know, if other rits can do the same: so post screenshots, that you could do this or something else, which you think is very hard or even unique.

So here is my thing:

SOLO without henchies killing STYGIAN LORD.

It was a glitch when they first changed BUH, in that it resurrected any dead spirits as well as players.

Ok... i'm going to try my best not to sound like an asshole. I swear, i'll try.

First, why would you feel obliged to play this game if you're bored of it after awhile? If/When you get bored of the game, why wouldn't you choose another game or activity instead? I don't understand it when I see people around here saying that the game is boring, yet they're still playing it.

Secondly, since when has soloing stuff with an SoS build been a great accomplishment? I mean, its one of (if not the) most OP build in the game, and it is often used for solo farming anyway. I would be far more inclined to call someone "the best rit" if they made a creative build that could accompish something cool.

i agree, SoS made the ritualist a one-trick-pony of sorts, SoS is all people do anymore, because its so OP'ed that SoS is all that they think is needed.

if someone made a solo rit build using varied skills and concepts, i would be much more impressed.

Not true, simply encourage people to play other builds, and they will.
When we had more than one Rit in team I'd ping alternative bars and people were very happy to try something different.
And the more and more I did that, the more I saw Rits joining teams as these instead of SoS.

So all they need is encouragement.

As for screenshots, do they have to be solo screenshots? I don't really solo, since guildwars isn't not meant to be a solo game.

it does not have to be solo. party is cool as well.

you can post ANY screenshot (party, alone, nm, hm, whatever) of which you think that this is hard to do and ask people to do the same.

I had to try many, many times until I managed to kill a stygian alone.
So I dont think that this is really as easy as people try to tell me ("everone can sos etc."). and the prove would be: post a screen where I see that you could do the same! It's like a gordian knot!

I think with the upcoming change in HM enemy AR levels, a channeling (non-spirit) rit may be fun to try out again.

I already use builds like this, and it is pretty fun (even if it is sub-par to SoS builds). If you stack armor penetration from DwG or CwD on top of cracked armor from spirit rift or weaken armor, you can actually do quite a bit of damage with the lightning damage spells.
