Default Displacement

Is there a better way to reduce physical attacks than using displacement. For heroes or as a human player. Displacement dies way too fast usually ends up using all the ST charges when playing in HM. I was thinking maybe replacing it with something like Aegis to keep ST up more often for Shelter and Union but then again Aegis has 50% of time attacks miss and has a high recharge time so am not sure. Any suggestions or is Displacement an absolute must for party wide protection.

Blind is infinitely better than displacement, stick with just shelter on STs.

Enfeebling blood, ineptitude, shadow of fear, shared burden are the usual suspects, although the last one is if you're going super defensive.

I run ineptitude/clumsiness/wandering eye on one of my mesmers, my ST rit has shelter, union and displacement, and I run Sneak Attack with a scythe.

Displacement is nice, I've had no problems with it. I used to run Ageis on a EMo protter when I ran that.

Displacement only drops quickly if melee start training. By using Ineptitude and other melee hate, you'll notice that Displacement rarely drops. The best way to avoid it dropping to fast is to take out groups faster. A couple other options is to pre-cast it, use Armor of Unfeeling, and micro it.
